Going by some remarks I've read here, I'm going to have to tell my boys never to have a relationship ever with any female. God forbid they have sex and sex talk, or "gasp" take pictures. Or imagine if they have an argument and exchange heated words. My boys could be brutally muredered or convicted of some abusive, deviant sex crime.

This is true, but it undermines the whole point of the trial or even discussing it. If you're going to assume one party is responsible from the beginning and nothing will change this, why even participate? I was under the impression that determining the entire truth was more the idea here.

A trial bystander forming an opinion on guilt or innocence has no bearing on "the whole point of the trial". Not sure what you meant by that. I love discussing and hashing and rehashing trials, getting out my outrage, sharing ideas, learning more about the judicial system and I almost always stick with the side of the State. I participate because it's interesting to me and I enjoy sharing ideas with other people, most of which share my opinions. I think this is what most message boards online are about. Even things like needlepoint. People share ideas and interests.

Yes, he took nude photos "with" her. They were both involved in the process, unless you think she took those pictures of herself and all her naughty bits perfectly with a self-timer and no apparent tripod. If a self-timer was used, as well, it should show up in the EXIF data and surely the prosecution would have mentioned this.

What photos did he take with her? I didnt see any photos where they were together and this camera has a timer and a remote........easy peasy to take photos together.

You dont need a tripod to use a timer or remote. One of our granddaughters is a professional photographer and she can set a camera up just about anywhere and then be in the photo and it looks like someone else had to take the photo.

Since she told Flores she was always taking photos of herself and then deleting them I think she took the photos of her nasty stuff. And like my all American red blooded hubby says 'What man wants a photo taken of his limp penis?' Why wasnt he posed like she was instead of looking like he didnt even realize she was going to take the snapshots until she did it. I bet he told her to delete the da*n things immediately.

What?? They're out for almost two weeks then have TWO dark days when they return. I'll be there Wed. and get the scoop. I'm lucky to have a job and lifestyle that is pretty flexible. And I WILL make adjustments if this defendant testifies. Can I get a Websleuths press pass?

I didn't know a clip was played...I just heard Wilcox referencing it. It's my understanding that Jodi taped it. Probably so she could continue obsessing with it (ew).

Crazy obsessed Jodi taped it for reasons, IMO. :notgood: Maybe played it over and over after she killed him because she missed his calls, and she knows he would have called eventually if only she hadn't killed him. Jodi makes no sense because she is really a mess in her own head.

Mainly, taping it was a possible blackmail type tactic. She could ruin Travis with pics and tapes. What he thought was a private moment of no consequence is now being used totally against him.

I dont think so. A lot of testimony was entered today. It was one of Juan's best days and every moment was riveting to me.

They are this far along already and more testimony will be heard after the jury is dismissed for the day tomorrow and before court starts.

Beth had already said the hearing today wouldnt last long.

:floorlaugh: I think it lasted way longer than Nurmi expected it would though.

I really think he thought he could just accuse Juan and that would be it. Shows he is not an attorney who thinks on his feet.

Do we know when the sex tape was recorded? The phone sex that is. Did the defense give a time frame as to when this was? Was it checked to make sure that it is in fact Travis on the tape and not some other guy since we had Ryan testify to he and Jodi also having phone sex? Lots of questions and I refuse to take the word of Jodi and her defense team unless they have actual proof of it.

She will adapt and spin her story either way. While AZ is slow again its not CA slow. There are some doozies on DR here now that are never getting out. Ever. I can't remember the last time a DR conviction was completely overturned here on appeal....it probably has happened but it isn't the norm. Once you get there you stay there unless you happen to die first. She will never get out. DR is a big deal here, as very few cases get tried at that level. Either way, she will die in a far less heinous way than her victim did.

No proof that he was involved. He is dead and voiceless and I dont believe a known and proven liar especially when they are the murder defendant who has the most motive to lie.

If you look at the most recent national sex survey (2010, I think), 15%-45% (depending on age group) of women have engaged in anal sex , I mean have justifiable grounds for murder.

My other thought on taping the phone sex, if she is the one who taped it, is the potential for the tape to be used as revenge or leverage against him at any point down the road. If he broke up with her, talked to other girls, etc. she would try to ruin his relationships and path in the Mormon community.

Of course those plans would only work if she gave him the courtesy of living. Killing him was her chosen plan. Though I guess she gets to play the recording too, so she's screwing him double. Manipulative and cold.
