So maybe wanting to go home, avoid a contempt charge, and a private hearing make him a little less belligerent.Looks like he's answering now?

Why would he need to "plead the 5th?"
Because he lied...? Was there no one in the car with him and he lied and said there was and now he's being forced to tell the truth?
OR
Was there really someone in the car with him and he's trying to "protect" them in some way from the big bad Chris Hughes?
OR
Was there someone in the car that he doesn't want anyone to know about because it's something else entirely/hinky?
OR
Is Gus just trying to play games?
I am literally :floorlaugh: Laughing on the floor and laughing out loud.
This thread has been a riot.
I cannot wait to see what happens after the "break"!

Let me get this straight...
1. The guy prev. shopping his testimony around, now tries to plead the 5th.
2. As a Legal Shield executive, he has no legal representation "on hand."
3. He then says he'll simply take the judge's legal advise, and deem it "credible."
Whhhhhhaaaaaatttttt????????!!!!!!?????
isn't he the magic underwear guy?!?!??!

Maybe it was Sky Hughes in the car with him.
Someone upthread said that you can only plead the 5th to protect yourself, not a 3rd party. So he could not do that if it was about someone else being in the car with him, but he could plead the fifth if he lied about someone being there in the first place.
But since the judge only said they were going to have a 'procedure' without the public present, I have absolutely no idea if this is what's going on there right now, or if it's something else entirely.
Yep! Another man to add to her list.
