I am once agan trying to understand why they have called this man. He wasnt stalked by Jodi or his accounts hacked or his tires slashed because if that had happened they wouldnt have called him.

I agree with you. He had been with her for years and must have had no plans to marry her....maybe she didnt want to marry him either.

I think it's more like she left stable guy for Travis - someone I believe she considered marriage material. After she changed everything about herself and had sacrificed so much to be more appealing to him he had the audacity to reject her.

ETA: Just to clarify I don't think her leaving DB alone contributed to Travis' death. I think it was converting, moving, etc. all together.
