there are some pretty sweet and very expensive motorhomes... just sayin... lol

yea, I get that.

I guess what I mean is this guy makes it look like he just filthy rich, yet lives in a motor home...
Hard for me to see a "man" like him and then him saying that threw me.

Appears JA was playing this ego maniac for the fool.

Yes Gus....I bet she was shaking and crying after speaking with Travis on the phone.......Travis was telling her to get lost !

who is the dark-haired woman in the front row that looks like Elvira?

Travis's sister.

She has a bit of a severe look, but if you have seen her wedding photos on her FB (I was lurking, ok), she is quite beautiful. I really feel for her.

Where are the lip readers?

they want to show she's not a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, 🤬🤬🤬🤬, sexual predator. (good luck with THAT - we've seen ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of her already!!!)

Yeah and she was pretending to be a good morman woman at the time too. So what did he expect.

For anyone who cares, I just did a load of dishes, so THERE! My trial-day sloth DOES know boundaries, therefore, I must be a good mother and housekeeper.

Why, what have you heard?!?!?

:floorlaugh: I am really loving you today!:floorlaugh:

I made junior a snack and I did 1 load of laundry, picked up kid's room, and unloaded/loaded dishwasher.

I find it so incredibly disrespectful that JA's friends and family are talking and laughing as if they're there for fun and not because their friend/daughter/sister/whatever else MURDERED someone.

So, why is it so incredulous that the defense is leading up to what it takes to get to one of these events, what the event is, and why it means so much to be invited to one?

I have absolutely no problem with the DT eliciting from this witness what a big deal it is to get to one of these meetings, in simple straight foward words.

However, I do not think statements such as "I make 100k a year without getting out of bed" ...or words to that effect is

a. Relevant to the case.

b. At times Mr Searcy's testimony seems to come off as bragging.

This is not helpful on a witness stand, as it can alienate people. Including the jury, who are going to view his testimony as credible or not.

My thoughts exactly. The only one who can talk about that phone call is Jodi herself. Or, Travis - but she killed him.

This is untrue. Present sense impressions, excited utterances, declarations of present state of mind... Any of these are completely admissible. If she answers the phone and says, "Oh, hi Travis!", that falls into a hearsay exception.

He suddenly gets so dense and slow when Juan is asking the questions.
