Jodi and the domestic abuse expert definitely read a different version of Snow White than the version I read to my daughter.
In my version, Snow fled from her dangerous, abusive stepmother and saved herself by breaking into a forest cottage. Then she found some gullible forest animals and manipulated them into cleaning it. When the home owners found her couch surfing, she used he gift of persuasion and they agreed to provide her with FREE room, board, and meals. She cooked breakfast and dinner and the gullible forest animals washed their dishes and laundry while Snow took all the credit. Snow had nine men that were grossly enamored with her and each was willing to suffer harm to protect her (woodcutter, prince, and 7 dwarfs). With her intelligence and charm, Snow spellbound the dwarfs to such an extent that when she died, they built a gold coffin for her.
Snow White was never a victim of a domestic abuse by a man!
Yeah, low-cut black lace halters don't meet my definition of conservative either...Gee Juan should have thrown that photo in his face that shows herhanging out.
imo

they haven't been together for how many years? how is this not too remote in time to the murder? so what if she was on time?
was he an ongoing confidant of hers? i can see how that might be relevant, although he can't testify to what she told him---but i don't see what this other BS has to do with anything.
Not all too surprising from the same defense team that wanted to preclude referring to Travis as a victim during trial :banghead:How nice for him. He gets to hide his face. Unless he's CIA or has a job that requires protection, that's lovely. Wouldn't want his life disturbed. Only run the Alexander family and friends through hell. Let's keep Jodi's witnesses safe and protected.
Ugh.
Darryl Brewer called by the Defense . . .
He is ex-boyfriend of JA for 4 years - he is 52 y/o, divorced, and has one 14 y/o son.
I know Jodi because we were in love . . . (not showing the face of the witness)
I met JA in fall of 2001 - employed as Food and Bev. Director @ Ven Tana (sic?) in Big Sur - she came as a server- she was outstanding, on time, interviewed well, dressed appropriately.
It is a 63 room boutique hotel . . . . he ran food beverage operations, managing restaraunt, banquets, breakfast service, room service, etc. There is a high end main rest.
Why doesnt this guy want his face shown?
Isnt this the first witness that didnt want their face shown?
imo
