Not good PR for his "business" but then again I guess he makes 100k a year off the backs of those under him without even having to get out of bed in the morning (his words about the 100k and bed in trial... my addition about the backs of others is my opinion about these type of companies)

I don't believe any of us have sainted Travis. A lot of us just don't believe he was abusive in any definition of an abusive personality. (At least not a definition supported by DV experts and research I am familiar with.)

It's just my opinion but there is a huge distance between rejecting someone, refusing contact with someone, breaking up with someone, leading someone on, hurting someone's feelings and actual emotional or psychological abuse. They are literally worlds apart in my opinion.

Many victims of emotional or psychological abuse don't even realize they are victims because that is precisely how bad the brainwashing, crazy-making, and gaslighting get. It tilts any sense of reality on its axis. They may know 'something' is wrong but they struggle with a definition and by default most often blame themselves for the inability of the relationship to succeed. (e.g. My ex had me absolutely convinced I was incapable of happiness.) Often part of the pattern of abuse is to guilt and coerce a victim into staying with the abuser - threats of suicide, playing on the victim's emotions, destroying property, threats of violence, etc.

I know for me personally five years into an emotionally abusive relationship, when I confronted my ex about being abusive, he became so incredibly violent it was the last time in our marriage I even whispered the word abuse. It took another five years to find the strength and resources to be able to walk away for good.

I'm just not seeing it with Travis and Jodi but maybe I can't because of my personal experiences. MOO

ETA: To clarify though I do believe, and have always stated so, Jodi appears very much to be the definition of an abusive personality I am familiar with.

I don't think GS is doing his company any service by him testifying. I'd say he should be less worried about the person in the car with him and more worried about "product" he's trying to sell to the highest bidder. This isn't PPL, it's a court of law. I hope they charge him with contempt. If this is about the phone he gave Jodi and he called to report it and now claims he doesn't know when he met her, he's lying. I bet Juan knows exactly when she got the phone. lol JMO

I still maintain my opinion that Chris Hughes has committed some no-no's in this case. Trying to maneuver/persuade/denigrate potential (or actual) witnesses. Now it may not be a legal no-no, but it smacks of sleaziness.

I think he just made that up and thought that would bolster his fairy tale more.

If he doesnt produce the name and if the person doesnt verify what he says is true he could find himself in deep doo with the Judge.

I just told my hubby how strange it is that some people just want to desperately insert themselves in high profile cases even if it means lying to do it.

Open note to JVM: I don't know any woman who has had breast implants.

I live in California, Southern California at that, and while in college I was in a sorority so I can attest to knowing a crapton of women who have breast implants. Having said that, it's not my thing but I know quite a few friends who I could get local recommendations of a reputable plastic surgeon should it be my thing.

I don't think it's a big deal. But it is a big deal when you claim you can't pay your portion of a mortgage with a man you don't want to continue a relationship with because you found a trade up and you have the old boyfriend pay for said breast enhancements. Then yes I do see it as being a issue. It shows a pattern of Jodi using men for whatever she wants, and mainly using her sexuality to do it.

I've apologized several times for including "posters" in my comment.

I also have stated several times that NOTHING TA did warranted his horrible death period!

I only started this whole discussion when CH emails were mentioned that CH wrote an email to TA stating he felt TA was treating JA badly. And I wrongly commented that "most of us" would agree that TA maybe didn't treat JA all that great. MY BAD!!!

All I meant to say is.... someone can UNINTENTIONALLY harm someone emotionally and someone can FEEL emotionally harmed. This is just a fact.

bbm. I agree with this. He did not treat her or himself in a way anyone would be too proud of. Did he 'deserve to die'? I don't think so. I just don't canonize him just because he died. I respect the mourning. that's it.

It bothers me how some keep accusing those of us who believe Travis was the victim in the relationship, (ya' know, the guy who was brutally, viciously murdered by a woman who had been stalking him, according to the victim, who was crazy and evil, according to his friends, and who appeared to have pre-planned the murder and then coolly lied about it later, changing her story several times), of "canonizing" Travis or calling him a saint or perfect.

With respect, those of you who think Travis was a dog keep repeating, along with this negative opinion, that you don't believe he deserved to die. You insist this, over and over again (even while insisting, over and over again that Travis was a dog, something completely irrelevant if you don't really think he deserved to be killed - or that there was any justification for his murder).

You want everyone to believe that you don't think jodi was justified in "losing it" and killing Travis, despite continually pointing out that he was a dog, yet you totally ignore our repeated statements that Travis was not perfect and accuse us of acting like he was, just because some of us find that jodi arias was the sociopath and Travis the unwitting victim who was played and then destroyed via the ultimate act of domestic violence.

I don;t think that's fair. Not one of us has called Travis a saint. And what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Just like Tigerbalm's quiz last night. I don't understand people who are so desperate to insinuate themselves into a trial they will attempt to undermine the legal process just to get some face time. Hatfield is right, this guy should have been held in contempt, because he is the definition of "contemptuous" IMO.

I truly admire JM even more after today's fiasco. He handled it brilliantly.

It's amazing that at about the same time that Jodi decided to go Mormon, she got her manfriend (I refuse to call him boyfriend, he's 52 now) to pay for her and cut him off for sex at the same time. How bad is that? Too bad he didn't repossess them.

Yeah, I'm right there with you on this. I try to ignore these posts because in general I see where they go....
I cringe when I read statements along the line of "Let me just say that I don't think he deserved to die, but..."
