Good morning this is very OT but I have to share anyway....I was sittting in my office yesterday afternoon, the trial had jusr resumed after lunch and the ex was just starting his testimony...well my office has a glass window and I can see the front of the shop...all of a sudden an obviously very doped up young man came flying through the door pointing a handgun....we were being robbed....let me say I am very glad that the 3 people the young man first encountered have guns accessible to them. It turns out it was one of the young men that had burgularized the owners home at least 3 times, the latest being Monday afternoon He wanted to "talk" to the owner and explain how he was "not guilty". The young man had a$1000 cash bounty on his head and I think in his doped up way he was trying to collect. It was so scary and I am so glad he is locked up...okay carry on and I will try to get caught up on what I missed.

Once the scary part was over i kept thinking this better not have made me miss Jodi testifying...

The violent incident:

 a disagreement with another server regarding switching her station for the lunch shift this particular day. The other server refused to change their assigned station. Jodie went into the women's employee bathroom, directly across a hallway from the shared restaurant/kitchen office, slammed the door shut, screamed and kicked a hole in the wall. The other manager and I heard the ruccus and asked if she was alright. She immediately opened the door to the woman's employee bathroom and was recalcitrant and apologized in her 'sweetest' voice.

I thought Darryl was less than truthful myself because on the camera shot of his hands, his fingers were bright red and the back of his hand was pure white. He was very stressed out giving that testimony.

Why would he lie? He has a son he obviously shares custody with his ex. There may be things he just does not want his ex-wife to know. I think the fact that he did not marry Jodi speaks volumes and I think he blames the Mormons for taking her away from him. jmo

I thought Darryl was less than truthful myself because on the camera shot of his hands, his fingers were bright red and the back of his hand was pure white. He was very stressed out giving that testimony.

Has anyone else figured out who the unknown passenger in Gus's car was? I wracked my brain (lie) and finally decided it was OJ. Jodi and him have a lot in common and I heard from NG last night that Jodi has a new 'friend' in jail. Or maybe not...

I did learn that JA didn't go ape$hit on TA without ever showing any signs of being a murderess. Yes it was on one of those TV shows, anyhow Jodi took a baseball bat to her five or six year old little brother. Wacked him @ five times with it. Poor lil boy lucky he didn't get his block knocked off. Wonder if that is when Jodi's parents started thinking Jodi growing up away from smaller people and pets (easier targets) may not be a bad thing and started eyeballing grandpa and grandma's house?

I was thinking Leonard Padilla was in the car. He hasn't been in the news lately. lol

Do you believe that after he realized she was nuts (he himself called her stalker and said she would probably kill him) that he should have had no more contact with her? Would you let someone who is stalking you, slitting your tires and threatening/stalking people you are dating into your house, let alone into your bedroom?

I do not believe he let her in. I believe she sneaked in. I do believe TA was weak in character and tried to get out of this relationship by playing nice. As for Me, I would have called police, filed a restraining order, armed myself. I would likely be the one on trial. JMO.

On topic, I keep getting interrupted by work and real life, and am having trouble keeping up with the trial and/or threads. I wonder if some kind WSer can suggest the fastest way to catch up on what happened at the hearing yesterday? I can't seem to piece it together, and am all mixed up.

It seems like the defense is claiming prosecutorial misconduct because Chris Hughes texted Guy S, but then why is Chris reading through a text exchange he had with Travis about 'abusing' Jodi, and then Gus had some secret guy in the car with him when what? occurred and how is either thing related to prosecution misconduct?

I actually believe that old Gus may have pulled that out of his hat thinking it would bolster his story. I dont think there is another person unless he is going to have his girlfriend say she was with him. Why would he be reluctant to give the Judge the name if it was legit?

Gus could be in big trouble. I got the feeling that the Judge wasnt exactly believing all he was saying.

I kinda felt sorry for Darryl, you could tell that it hurt him to say anything negative towards JA. But you would think that he would have figured out by now the type of person that she is.
