Wow. Sorry. I'll try to refrain from any more random comments. I was just pointing out that Jodi is quite a bit taller than her female defense attorney that she is apparently deliberately sitting lower than. There is an attempt to make Jodi appear smaller and more vulnerable.

Anyway, back to the regularly scheduled thread! On we go!

Random comment away because a lot of us thought the same thing. :)

I added that specifically to wonder aloud if that was the case with the brother and sister team. I hope that was not the case.

I'm just now listening to the sister's testimony, and I think that is exactly what is going on.

There have been plenty of references on here that Jodi is a 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

TA was doing the same behavior, but over and over on here it has been said that he could not control himself because of the sexually experienced Jodi.

What I cannot accept is the idea that a man, any man, cannot control himself. It is the concept I object to. It is the idea of Adam and Eve. Of the Sirens and the Oddessy. Men cannot control themselves because of Jezebel.

Eric Cantor has said that Native women don't have such a big issue with rape so it is no big deal.

I am not saying Jodi was raped. I am not saying that she was abused.

I am talking about the double standard expressed on here over and over again regarding the idea that a man cannot control himself when confronted by a temptress. That thinking has been the basis for the victimization of women around the world. Women have to wear the burqa lest their beauty tempt a man.

This is not "🤬🤬🤬🤬 bashing".

Jodi is more than a "loose woman". She is a predatory psychopath. Psychopaths choose their victims. They study the available prey before choosing which one to attack.

Jodi studied Travis and determined that he was psychologically vulnerable and then she went after him. Even though Travis knew that Jodi was responsible for slashing his tires twice with a knife, he was unable to assess that she could also slash him. This is why Jodi chose Travis to be her next victim/boyfriend over the other successful men with money that she knew.

Travis' testosterone level and lack of impulse control allowed Jodi into his life, but his psychological inability to sense Jodi's evilness, cost him his life.

OMG..I disagree with you and I am not "verified" in any way, shape, or form. I suggest you contact Natasha Helfer Parker. http://mormonstories.org/natasha-parker/ Jodi murdered TA but I will never believe that she thought he was "prey". JA liked sex. TA liked sex..so what..his faith got in the way of that...

I agree...to make the jury think this is a tiny victim unable to do such a hanus crime.

I knew Nancy was blind when she made that comment. lol

HA - SERIOUSLY!!! I turned to my bf and asked if she was kidding!! He wasn't sure either so we rewound it to hear it again! I guess to quote NG herself, "BOMBSHELL!! That's right folks, NG thinks JA is a BOMBSHELL" :floorlaugh:

I'm watching the repeat of Nancy Grace, the one question from the jury, did you ever refer to Jodi as a stalker of Travis?<<<<<< what made someone ask about that? I was having troubles with my feeds a bit while she was testifying. Did something come out about her 'stalking' during the testimony? I don't remember seeing this.

I'm trying to remember if the DT used that specific term during their cross of Lisa. I THINK so, but don't hold me to that. Lisa did describe activity on JA's part that indicated stalking - I just can't remember if the actual term was used.

Right! She needs to stop that!
Bet Jodi loves it!
I still can't get over Jodi looking so smug today when Lisa was on the stand! I felt like she justcouldnt help herself plus was glad Lisa knew and announced to the nation that Jodi was who Travis was cheating on her with!

Jodi was "sluttier" than Travis IMO.

From everything we have heard, Jodi was the aggressor and had sexual relationships with other men as well -- sent very provocative, sexually explicit text messages to Travis. She engaged in sexual activity with another man the day after she had sex with Travis and killed him. At least in his relationships with other women, Travis did remain chaste and respected the girls' desire to remain chaste. I think it's inaccurate to say that Travis was doing the same thing Jodi was doing or that there's a double standard by focusing on Jodi's "slutty" behavior and not Travis'.

I don't think anyone said Travis couldn't control himself. I've seen several say that Travis gave into temptation, and several have said that Travis exercised bad judgment in having this type of relationship with Jodi.

The only reason anyone is talking about this is because Jodi has made the claim, through her lawyers, that she was pressured into sex and that Travis is a sexual deviant. She made sex an issue in this trial, so it's fair game to discuss her sexual proclivities, experience and the manner in which she appears to use sex to manipulate men. IMO IMO IMO

I should add that I have seen several LDS members on other sites that are not thrilled to have T be a "spokesman" for lack of a better word, for their faith.
They are basically disowning him because of their judgments about how he conducted his life. This is so sad. To loose a beautiful life is bad enough, but to have him scorned by his own - after his death especially - is very disheartening.
My prayers for T's family for the strength to endure.

Oh. The Holy-er-than-Thou faction? Dont'cha love when those groups chime in?

One of the juror questions was: Did you ever call Jodi a stalker? Lisa replied: Yes.

Speaking as an atheist, human beings are sexual beings. That's just nature. The Mormon faith, as with most others, demands unmarried humans to reject biological urges. It's ridiculous!

I am not claiming Travis couldn't control himself. I never said that.

He fell victim to a psychopath that happened to use sex as a strategic tactic.

It's not the same thing.
