I'm going to well versed in Mormonism after this.

He should be looking down and to the right if he's remembering. Up and to the left is concocting.

I don't buy that. I know that I look up when I'm trying to remember something. I used to do it all the time during tests at school. Not a fan of body language experts.

Do you think the defense realizes they are losing the jury with this endless religious procedures?

It's almost lunch time.

Just to add a little of my own Mormon perspective, and it's just my own, but it appears to me that this guy viewed JA as a helpless little bird who was new to the gospel and that she just needed love and friendship to straighten out her life. He may believe if TA just lived his standards, JA would have a chance to reform.

In some cases, it is disappointing to see a Mormon youth compromise his standards, especially with someone he baptized. Instead of seeing them both straighten out their lives, you see them both choose another way. I can see that and I think that may be where this witness may be coming from - disappointed in Travis because he "knew better."

What this young man does not understand is that JA is a very complex personality and that there are likely serious psychological issues. She has already been proven to be a very good - scary good - liar. She can play someone like this so easily - someone who feels sorry for her who wants to "save" her. I would guess he still believes that she can reform if just given the chance.

This is so over his head. He is lucky he wasn't taken in this too. He just doesn't realize it.

Yes I am thinking Mormon Bishops are wishing he would just shut up!!!

I now COMPLETELY understand the dynamics of the relationship with Jodi and Travis.

COMPLETELY. Travis WANTED to keep his Mormon values it was JODI who kept dragging him back into a relationship and a sexual relationship.

I totally get it now. He was trying.

I am hoping the jury is getting it too! I believe all this questioning...as boring as it is....is showing how much Travis was trying. I personally like him MORE after the defense case has started.

In fact, after the prosecution, I was a little uncertain if the jury would find premeditation. It was the gas cans (defense witness) that turned that around. Also, I didn't feel Travis was humanized as much as he is now. It sounds sappy, but I feel more of a personal connection hearing all his struggles through the defense side. He totally appears to me to be a young man trying who was outmanned by a woman who was so much more skilled at lying and conniving than he ever was.

He looks like he could be related to the ME, but not as cute. TigerBalm, could we get a side-by-side? lol.

I hope Juan shows this guy Travis' autopsy picture
and asks if that is allowed under Mormon law

Now I know why Travis didn't want to marry Jodi. She didn't want to follow the rules and it appears he TRIED to keep to them. Even going as far as having a chaperon when he was with Jodi.

I get it now. For me at least this witness is the final piece of the puzzle.

Oh, I'm sure Jodi was over at Dan's family home talking to his mother about Travis! Jodi was Obsessed with the subject.

Jody loved Travis :puke:

That's because it takes 10-15 lbs. of makeup to make Jodi look human!!!

:laughcry:

The punching bag was a dead cat that Jodi gave him as a gift.

Sorry, sorry, sorry. I just had to. :shush:
