Should we go ahead and take a lunch break? :what:

I'm so disappointed. I hurried to get my lunch done and in front of me at 10:15 on the dot. It's all eaten now. I was hoping to enjoy my meal while watching the trial. I guess it's true what they say about the wheels of Justice.

Damn straight!

Once when my grandma was in her late 80's my brother made a joke about a guy named Dick Hertz. My grandma said; Who's Dick Hertz? Of course I had to yell; Mine does, mine does!!! My sister almost squirted her iced tea out her nose.

:giggle:

You are sooooo bad. But sooooo funny. :floorlaugh:

I get a hinky vibe from the Freeman bro and sis too.

I hate to say it and I hate to be too "judgy" but it seemed very odd to me that they all went on trips together, Travis and JA were a romantic couple and here you have a brother and sister tagging along? idk maybe it's just me.

Dan Freeman visited Jodi 7 times in jail and his sister visited her 6 times. Now they are testifying for the defense?

Wow really? Where did you hear this information from?

So, IS is saying that the Freeman brother and sister visited Jodi in jail. Very interesting.

They both seem very committed to their spirituality/religion so I am thinking this is the reason. They probably see it as the Godly thing to do, save her and all that or they just were looking for answers themselves.

we don't have a forum... we have case threads in the trials forum.

glad you found your way... I linked the thread several times but it got buried.

I usually link each thread to my favourites and find link to next day at the end of the thread...

I do find this forum dificult to navigate through though. FWIW. There are so many cases to sort through...JMO

I dunno but Travis' sister and sister in law are both practicing Mormons tmk and have been very vocal about wanting Jodi to receive the DP.

I think for many religion or faith don't factor in at all when it comes to the death penalty. It becomes a more basic right or wrong scenario. JMO

Yes, I suppose that is the case for me as well, as a Christian. Though, I used to be VERY against the DP until the Casey Anthony trial and now this one. Sometimes I just can't see a way around being pro DP.

Is this the only working courtroom that city has?

Some said Desiree would have been 13 or so during the trips she and Dan took with Travis and the defendant, not true.

Direct from Willmott:
Q: Ah I wanna talk to you about um.. ah a little bit more about the trips.
A: Okay

Q: Ah do you remember when Grand Canyon and Sedona when that trip was?
A: I think it was .. it was in the summer time around June or so .. after I graduated

Q: After you graduated June of 2007, is that the year
A: Yes

Bringing this over from the last thread for those that might have missed it :)

Vinnie is reading TA's blog on IS . . . . TA talks about the "God" within him . . . .the King within the man and his search for an eternal partner . . . .

It occurs to me that JA knew enough about the LDS religion to know that . . . .

If TA told her he was not going to see her anymore because he didn't want to have sex anymore and was going to "repent" for his sexual activities and attempt to regain his "temple worthiness" again . . . . . .. . Was this JA's way of making sure TA died before he had an opportunity to do the "right thing" . . . . Choose the Right (CTR)?

Just another way of making sure that TA could
1) Not leave her to marry a virginal good Mormon woman for time and eternity?
2) Not achieve his highest goal (ie: Reaching the Celestial Kingdom and becoming a "God" himself?
3) Not chose to live his life (and time/eternity) without her?

Just some things to ponder with JA's understanding of the Religion aspects in her relationship with TA . .. .

Please, peeps, make the pictures a bit smaller. I do side-by-side with video and WS. When the margins get blown, I can't use the thank you button!

O/T
Is it wrong of my to tell my better half its Taco Thursday and oh you have to stop on your way home from work to pick them up. LOL

No it isnt wrong. Thursdays have been our date night since we married almost 30 years ago. Hubby knows today he will be bringing dinner home from Outback tonight instead of us dining out since the trial will be on.

My hubby is awesome ....so understanding and thoughtful.
