Frankly, I'm getting annoyed. I have things to do and I'm being held hostage by a seal!

I think they are censoring a lot; or have started to. Too many side bars too much in chambers and never on time. EVER.

Who did that recently, let the trial go nearly all the way through and then plead out, was that Brad Cooper?

The stab wounds and lacerations were made with a single edged weapon at least 5 inches long FWIW. (Supplemental report.)

Maybe Jodi is wanting to testify next????

Yes, and JM is objecting to her trying to wear a nun's habit, a baby bib, and be pushed to the stand in a wheelchair.

Legally, if JA pleads guilty to 1st degree murder, would she avoid the death penalty?

TIA :)

Do you have any medical evidence to back this up, other than what the ME has said may have happened?

I've already given accounts here of people attempting to commit suicide via gun that only successfully damage their frontal lobe and subsequently have to fire a second shot to end their lives.

The frontal cortex is mainly responsible for emotions, impulses, and rationality. If he remained conscious, he probably would have been disoriented, not quite sure what was happening, and probably almost in a drugged state. I think that would explain the lack of defensive wounds.

As I've stated before, it seems likely that he was shot in the bathroom and the blood around the sink is from him either kneeling or standing over it, dazed. He probably stumbled around, where Arias met him in the hallway with the knife (and where the vast majority of blood was on the carpet). That is the only way I've been able to make the sequence of events fit together as we know them.

Wouldn't he "Medical Examers" report be "medical evidence"?

well don't ask the seal.. because it just sits there and pleads the fifth

If she does cop a plea and get it, I bet Gus will let out a sigh of relief that will cause a tornado.

We had one yesterday! I don't want another one today!

He may have used the first two to lather it up but no mention of a straight razor that I have seen.

Thanks. I just re-scoured everywhere I could think of.

I can't get it out of my mind how handy a weapon it would have made.

Probably entirely unrelated to reality.

If you were JA, and I know none of us would even dream about being her, but if you were in her shoes, would the jury questions (so far) make you feel like you needed to testify?

Obviously JA will go over this with her DT, but if it was me I would be thinking "If they're not buying what my witnesses are testifying maybe they'll buy it from me."

She has to testify to make this murder even remotely plausible. Then it's going to be a she said/he said. I don't see her winning in anyway shape or form. It will be a last ditch effort.

After seeing Juan would you want to take the stand?

If I were Jodi, as I imagine her to be, I think she would be fine taking the stand. I can also see the defense team assuming that Juan will get SUPER aggressive with her. Which would be a mistake, imo, because I doubt that Jodi will react in kind.

can JA plea guilty to first degree murder to avoid the death penalty?

The state has to offer her a plea deal.. IMO it's not going to happen in this case

I think it is just objections and legal arguments imhoo... we have pretty much seen it all

I believe that Jodi thinks she can win over Juan-or snow him. Remember, she will never be convicted because she is innocent. Nod, nod.

All she needs is one juror. Just one.

Michelle Lee @myhleeJudge has asked everyone to leave the courtroom. We don't know why. And we don't know if we're coming back. #Arias
