Maybe Gus lost his ring and now everyone is searching for it.

So during Lisa's testimony there was some talk about TA having some sort of financial difficulties? Anyone know anything about that, out of curiosity?

My guess .. his whole life went to hell when he got mixed up with Jodi. Difficulty sleeping and focusing on his job because of the constant chaos and attention Jodi demanded.

O/t. 40 car pile up in Indiana?

That was from about 4 hours ago.

Serious injuries. I-70 near Indianapolis Int'l airport still closed.

I think so, since they are presenting their case now. Unless the prosecution just sought to amend their evidence list. But I can;t be sure. Criminal trials are not my thing.

Oh man. I hope no one is too badly hurt.

It's actually Michigan. 2 people dead.

FYI I saw Nurmi walk in this am with a large brown paper wrapped something that to me looked like a piece of evidence

The suspense is killing me!!!!

No problem, I've down there a few times so the misspelling was driving me crazy :-)

If you ever get the chance to go you should, it is gorgeous! It is a 10 mile hike in(although there are helicopter rides to the village 8 mi in, still 2 mi from the campground) - when they mentioned going through her backpack - that is common with experienced vs new backpackers - you carry everything on your back(sleeping bag, clothes, tent/hammock, food) so you need to be careful with what you pack or you will be lagging under the weight. Many inexperienced backpackers pack too much.

Not sure if and when I would go as it is very far for me but if we do make it there we will check out those falls. They look really nice.

Well, I have to take my dog for a walk so court will be sure to start back up while I'm gone.

Shouldn't all the evidence have been entered previously?

Haven't they had several years to do this?

For her to allow it in it has to be NEW evidence not known and it is extremely rare to have new evidence at this late hour.

And when I saw new.........it was just gotten.

IMO

Since we are all staring at the good ole Arizona seal right now, does Travis look drugged in those pics?

I didn't get to follow the first part of the trial so I may be repeating something that's already been addressed. But, in the pics, he looks fogged to me. Could she have administered something to him and then taken the pics?

The reason I ask is that I find it hard to believe she thought she could overtake him with the knife as a first choice. (Since shot was fired later). She had a camera and a knife so don't think she could hold a gun too. He is pretty strong. Would you risk going in with a knife first? There is a chance he could overpower her....unless....she knew he had been drugged and was more sluggish.

Again, apologize if this is old ground, but it's bugging me.

Having read other replies: I do not believe he was shot first considering the ME evidence, and having read about what being shot to the head would incur besides the obvious: Scull fractures, brain damage, blood loss, unconsciousness, and other injuries to the rest of the brain that one does not consider like massive concussions, etc. Being shot first does not fit within the scheme of things IMO.

I am with you in being very fascinated with this question. I too do not see her taking chances. I think there was something. I have mulled over wether she lured him into a sexual bondage situation. There was that silky rope found at the crime scene, in the pools of blood.

Isn't the next witness going to testify that he saw some marks on Jodi's neck? Maybe a photograph has suddenly appeared and the judge wants to know where it came from.

Only the defense would be trying to introduce 'new' evidence right now, correct?

I believe so... and they are bound to be making the jury tiresome of sitting around doing absolutely nothing!

"New" evidence my arse. More like Nurmi trying to spring something unexpected on Juan.
