OK so if I heard right, these penis pix were not on the main computer hard drive (I cannot even hear 'hard drive' anymore without laughing!). It was on a 2.5" external drive. So it was on a portable storage device that the peni (is that plural?) were found. If it matters at all.

Laughing because the all female panel on JVM keep smiling and saying 'penis.'

I do have a question:
I keep hearing Jodi confessed to the murder, but I only saw her lies about not being there and the nijas did it. Did she not confess on video or paper? Did she only confess to her lawyers so that is why I did not see it? I thought for sure the confession would be put out in some way to the jury. Did I miss it?

Welcome Apparition! No, there is no confession on video or on paper so far as I have been able to find so far! It's what she entered as her plea and we are witnessing it's description through this trial.

Paperwork was filed with the court, in 2010 for self defense claim.
I have never heard she sat down with LE and confessed, otherwise we would have seen that tape as well.

I think the only statement that can be made about this puzzling piece of "evidence" waitasec is that SOMEONE has a penis.

Beyond that it seems we don't know who it belongs to, how it got on the computer, who sent it, or how many encounters JA had with it.

Maybe that was coming from a future witness. I believe the forensics guy was just setting foundation - stating that it factually came from the computer/drive. Where the drive was obtained and any other relevance can very well come later.

Her self-defense "confession" was done through her lawyers. I think she stopped talking to LE once she was charged and eventually got assigned public defenders, so there is no confession for us to see or read anywhere. Hopefully we'll get to hear her (lies) when she testifies.

Being in the medical field I would expect the autopsy report to say "the external genitalia are those of [a] CIRCUMCISED normal male". My view may be slightly skewed since I do work in Urology, so that's pertinent in our office.

Also a note on the same general subject:
That is NOT a fully erect penis, it appears to be partially erect as evidenced by the curvature at the base of the penis. They only way an adult penis would have such a curvature at the base when erect would be if they had a fairly severe case of Peyronie's disease (plaque(s) usually of the tunica albuginea most commonly caused by trauma to the penis such as fracture, the plaque(s) cause the penis to curve abnormally when erect). Not that it actually matters, since an erect penis really has nothing to do with the case, but I figured for the sake of accuracy I would point that out.

He tried numerous times to break it to her gently - didn't work.
Do I think it was uncalled for? No way! Not when I know what I know now.
He found out being nicey nice wasn't working, so he had to try giving her the cold hard truth! He was a free man whether she liked it or not. Free to date the waitress or who ever he pleased.

That is exactly the way I see it too. He tried everything, including being brutally honest and she just refused to go away. He was being way too courteous and polite and it didn't work. So, he tried to insult her, call her names, everything. She was like a booger that he just could not thump off his finger. He was at a loss as to how to get rid of her, nothing worked.

She allegedly offered a plea, but that is not the same as a confession (legally). If she did take the plea, that would be.

I'm confused. If she admitted killing him in self defense, was it documented on video or on paper? Or was it just to her attorney so it is not open to the public?

It's my understanding that the peen pics were deemed not accepted into evidence. I don't believe one can just throw pictures out there and explain how they relate "later". Nope.

The judge failed miserably today imo. She should have explained this before she dismissed everyone.

ETA - The last trial I followed here on websleuths was the "one that can't be named". I thought the judge was lame from the very beginning and felt so intimidated by everyone's support of him that I never said a word. I will now. I thought he was more concerned with the jury's menu than the trial he was following. I hope this judge is serving her country and doing her duty. Today, she disappointed. Let's hope Monday brings her a better handle on her courtroom..

PLEASE...someone...please tell me what in the HELL-O does it matter whose photos these belong to? HOW does it matter? Why is everyone going on and on and on about it? I just don't understand. I know that it seems to be okay and definitely not against rules here, but this is supposed to be a victim friendly forum. How would any of us feel if our brother, or father, or son were murdered and there was a forum of people laughing and joking about a part of him? Maybe she had a hair or mani-pedi appointment. It doesn't seem this trial is much of a priority to her. She is not in control. The attorneys have to help her constantly, e.g., Nurmi saying: "maybe Gus should have an attorney" and whoever requesting that the witnesses not discuss or view media coverage. She's just awful!

I so agree about the judge. She does not have a backbone and seems to be afraid to do much of anything.

When Gus asked what would happen if he refused to answer, I was screaming for her to tell him he would be committing contempt of court and would face punishment that could include jail time. Instead, she says something like...."We'll have to see". Like she had no idea what she could legally do about it without going to chambers and consult with her peers.

She comes across as very green under the gills to me. If she is not green, then she is just way too liberal allowing anything and everything in her court.

We saw other examples of this when she had to politely tell the audience to try not to react to testimony or evidence with reactions. Like 3 or 4 times already.

I have also seen and sense how she uses the attorneys direction to help her.
Just like the example you said when the defense attorney gave her the idea that Gus could request counsel. She was like....."oh yeah, greaat idea. Ill use that".

It is disgraceful to me. Although if I was ever a defendent, I would love to have her as my judge.

Wow. I really disagree. I know judges and this judge is pretty darn good. Although I think she is giving the defense more leeway than they should have.

In other news, listening Mr. She Was Like A Sister to Me, jodi had hit the jackpot with all these earnest, inexperienced, yet horny Mormon young men trying desperately to adhere to the tenets of their religion. This wasn't jodi's religion. She did not come into the fold with the same attitude about premarital sex. But she could play the virginal Mormon girl and use sexuality to charm and manipulate men who likely had had little contact with anyone like her before. She held herself out as a Mormon, which gave her an in and allowed them to become close to her and to let their guards down.

This woman is a sinister snake. Not only did she use sex, she used religion. Much like, IMO, casey anthony is using religion to claim she is born again and to get sincere, religious folk to take care of her and provide her with housing, etc.

I'd bet on a modern computer's time being more accurate than a camera's any day of the week.
