Tricia, I found myself cringing as I read your initial post. I knew you had just lost your dad, and can't imagine how Websleuths being down made your "Top 10" list!

Losing my father is the worst thing that's ever happened in my life, and my thoughts and prayers are with you at a very difficult time.

I haven't been around much for a long time, but just happened to pop in tonight to do some reading. I had no idea Websleuths had been offline, and just logged in as usual. And then I started reading your strange saga!

I always knew you loved us and Websleuths, and now you've proven it forever! :angel:

I've lost both my parents, and lots of other relatives besides, and to have another major catastrophe on top of that, and then to have to deal with evil Credit Card companies who don't trust anyone - I know, because I lost my wallet last year and had to replace everything - and banks and check cashing companies - well, it's like the plagues of Egypt.

I am so glad to have WS back, but I feel really badly that you spent your silver dollars on the software.

I'm sorry that you had to deal with the scary check cashing place.

I hope everything turns out ok with your credit card that is not really yours.

You really have been through a lot and to even think of us here says a lot about you and who you are.

I'm so sorry about your dad. Even when we know it is coming we are never be prepared but out of the blue is really hard. Of course you need to spend a lot of time with your son. Boys and their grandpa's can be awful close and it is especially hard on them when grandpa is no longer there to do things with, talk to, hear their storys, and pal around with. My son was especially close to his grandpa so I remember what that was like.

I've had days or weeks where it felt like the devil was out to destroy me and that isn't fun. I know exactly what you mean!

You take care of yourself and your boy and don't worry about us here. We'll keep the home fires burning. You are a jewel.
