BBM. I have not heard that. I don't think we know how the video became known. Or know that DB never mentioned it to LE.

I could very well be wrong (not able to keep up), but I thought I read LE found a receipt in the home.

Some of the news articles made it seem like she did not tell LE about it. That is why I am getting increasingly angry with MSM in this case. Yes, it is catchier to have dramatic sensationalized statements in an article, but a real child's life is hanging in the balance here. It is just irresponsible.

Anyway, dude looks younger to me even though sometimes age is hard to judge. Maybe 17-20. If he is 17 it makes sense because media hasn't outed him. I believe she also has a brother around that age so could just be him.

The biggest thing that bothers me about the surveillance video is that she didn't mention it to LE. IIRC, it was the store who contacted LE (is that right?). I feel confident that LE asked her repeatedly to recount that day for them. Go through it again. Ok, now go through it again. Just in case a little something is mentioned that might have been forgotten the first (second or third) time. This, however, is not something little! I have a hard time believing she forgot she went to the store that day. But, why on earth would she not tell them this info? It looks pretty innocuous to me. I just don't get it.

What I recall being reported is that LE found the receipt, and then went to the store and asked for the surveillance video. That indicates to me that Mom hadn't told them about the trip to the store. And that bothers me. Although it does explain why there were "gaps" and "mistakes" in her story to LE, and why (according to her) they were suspicious of her from day one, even before she failed the poly two days later.

Nailing down a timeline is time consuming, but not difficult, if you are both open and honest.

MOO, but if you are trying to buy alcohol for an underage person, many times the store will refuse to sell it w/o the person providing ID. It looked like when they were at the register he handed something to the cashier, too. So I'll just say my opinion is, he's not underage, nothing sinister or hinky about buying wine, wipes & baby food.

I see Lisa's mother handing something to him. I don't see the guy handing anything to cashier.

I have to agree with this. We know they found a food receipt but we do not know that she did not include a trip to the store in her recount of her days activities. This receipt and video may have only corroborated what she told them. We don;t know.

Catching up... the guy in the store is Mr. Green Sweatshirt Guy. The Big glasses are a giveaway. He's seen on video with the mom (at her house, with that chevy truck parked there) wearing no sweatshirt before he's seen on camera with a green sweatshirt. Looks like same day? He doesn't seem to be hiding too much. Does anyone know who he might be?

Deleted since it has been asked and answered.

Thanks for clarifying for me. Hopefully I won't get 500 quotes of my post telling me that I was wrong.

Ok...because I'm getting confused and the topics are moving quickly...

Are there TWO different videos? One with a guy in a green hoodie and one with the guy in jeans at the Food Festival grocery store?

I think so. The GMA video showing the surveillance from the grocery store (also showing the guy in the green hoodie outside with JI and DB). And the video Ruby Slippers posted of the guy in the green hoodie trying to hide his face from the cameras, which is here (about 2/3 in on video):

I saw the glasses look the same ,but I have to wonder if the guy isnt related and he is using his glasses. The store guy is a foot taller then lisa and green hoodie guy is not. I took screen shots and have to learn how to do a side by side but I do not think he is the same guy. Also store guy when coming out of the store looks about 26 or 27. You can see his face better there.

But that was a reporter wasn't it? Did the LE spokesperson ever discuss why they went looking for the video?

But if LE did know about the store in the beginning why wait a week to check it out, since according to DB's statements last week they she thought LE was focusing on her from the beginning?

How the heck does baby food and baby wipes morph into paper plates and napkins?
The media getting it wrong again! I don't think LE said this.

It was reported in MSM that the police found a receipt in the home and went to the grocery store and asked for the video. Unfortunately, I can't find the link to the story.

It does look like the same person in the video and in the green hoodie. Do we know who it is? A family member?

No, the grocery store manager said this. He corrected himself yesterday, saying he was mistaken about the paper cups and plates. He'd heard that from someone else.

GOTCHA... and yeah they guy/boy in the green hoodies is the same person in the grocery store video.

to the person that thought he put something up to his ear in when walking just out of view in the grocery store video....He's taking off his sunglasses.

It might be the same guy but I am not 100 % sure.

 well, I guess if I was going to do away with my child, I'd certainly need those baby wipes and that baby food.

Hmmmmm....wonder if the new food/wipes are accounted for...or if they disappeared with baby Lisa....
