Does Mom have a drivers license?

I don't know why she wouldn't, but maybe they only had one car and the father was taking it to work?

I think anyone can drink wine from the box.

Yeah...but women are more likely going to chose wine...underage boys want beer and liquor.

So..... this male goes into the store with Deborah, points at the box of wine, she pick up the box of wine and carries it to the counter, she buys the box of wine at the counter, and then she hands the change back to the male.

She didn't tell police about this trip to the store because she was buying for an underage male. Where did this underage male go to drink his new box of wine?

Would a male choose wine over beer or liquor? I'm not convinced the wine was for the man, and we don't know he's underage.

I really think the interest in the video was to see if anyone was following her.... Just to see who else was in the store at the time.... IMO

What she purchased, or who she was with is not important. IMO

More than once, one of my neighbors has said, "Hey...I'm going up to the store for a minute. Do you need anything?" And I've said, "Actually, I do. I'll just ride up there with you."

FWIW, I have a driver's license and two cars.

It could be just that simple.

Ummmm I find this therory that the boxed wine is being purchased for the guy.

I don't know to many underage males that drink boxed wine...their first choice would be BEER or hard liquor.

I had a boyfriend when I was 19 (he was 19 as well) who used to cook dinner for me and buy a box of cheap wine.:innocent: It's not completely out of the realm of possibilities that if this is an underage man that he wouldn't want a box of wine. He could've had a hot date. :floorlaugh:

According to NBC, DB bought baby food and baby wipes along with the wine. Game changer for anyone? Doesn't sound like she planned anything when you consider that. What do you think?

Trying to get her all liquored up with cheap wine so he can take advantage of her....

If a guy bought me boxed wine, it would be a deal-breaker, for sure.:floorlaugh:

Does Mom have a drivers license?

Good question, Grandma. It's not impossible that she might also have one but it's suspended. (Lord, I hope not.)

Well actually I know people who don't have drivers licenses. It would make me nuts not to be able to go to the mall all by myself leaving my  husband at home. He doesn't understand mall shopping at all! :floorlaugh:

But there are some women I know that just don't drive.

An underage male having someone buy him an inexpensive box of wine rings the "signs of alcoholism" hinky bell. Moderate drinking for a male is defined as 2 glasses/day. (My husband brews beer and makes wine. I realize many people don't just drink 2 glasses, but this person likely was underage since he didn't pick up the wine in the store.)

I did really laugh out loud on this one! Well-put.

I wonder how much baby food she bought - enough for a night or enough for a week?

Any locals know where a new Starbucks is being constructed? Possibly it is in a store so may necessitate working at night to not interfere with the store, so may not be on Starbucks website yet. That could help with figuring out drive time.

Although, it is possible it is not shift-work. Some contractors go in to complete a particular job, they don't really punch a clock.

I have seen a Google map available showing the route to the new Starbucks site from the house -- in earlier threads.

:waitasec:Not to question authority, but how is an unkown man that was seen with her at a store hours before her baby vanished not sleuth-able? Makes no sense to me?

This may help explain . . . :great:

It's possible but unusual for a young person born in the US without some disability.

I hate to drive. Avoid it like the plague. But I do keep a valid license and my own vehicle because sometimes you just have to drive, you know? One of the animals gets injured, Hubby breaks down, neighbor needs ride to doctor, or maybe I just have to go get milk to finish a dish. What I absolutely can NOT imagine is having young children in my home and not having access to a vehicle or a valid license, or some reliable way to get them to a doctor in an emergency.

(Please, no one jump down my throat with comments about how some people can't afford a second vehicle, can't drive due to medical reasons, etc. I already know that. I'm saying that, for me personally, I would never be comfortable with it. That's all.)
