When the video of KC and TL at Blockbuster came out I remembered her saying she went to a neutral place.

Neutral Place= TL apt. and then on to Blockbusters I guess you have to know the "backwards way of thinking" to understand. :bang:

I think Casey's unusual speech patterns "remove" her from the emotional impact of whatever is going on at the time. I also remember her using the word "level" in one of the jailhouse conversations with Lee - something to the effect of "I am not level now". That struck me as extremely odd phrasing. Then, if I remember correctly, Lee said to LE during his interview "I am on the LEVEL with you". Is that their code word for "truthful'? So when Casey said "I am NOT level".....?

They do seem to talk goofy..........like a secret code.........???
doesn't make sense.......what do their friends say about understanding them.........CA doesn't make sense either! because she just lies.....IMO

You're right about Anthony speak being GREEK to most of us...It is like we are on an alien planet with these people and we cannot understand them and they cannot understand us. We need an interpreter, but is there anyone who is NOT an Anthony who can speak their language? :waitasec:

Neutral place might be one where KC doesn't have to be confronted with criticism, or made to explain her actions. Seems like the A's house was definitely not a "neutral" place. TL's place is "neutral" because he doesn't grill her for facts or explanations.

That's how I understood the statement too. And she didn't say that in the same breath with going to TL's apt. The neutral place was something she did when she supposedly had failed to find Caylee and ZFG.

For that reason, I've always thought it was an important reference, maybe to the first time she parked and sat at Amscot, a really nondescript, neutral place, a place without associations.

I dont think she meant anything at all. she was trying to say a calm place but her tendency to overdo words to sound smart made it come out as neutral
