GREAT DAY... For me, it's such a relief because I've been so concerned with our jury system and still struggling with verdict PTSD following the p12 disaster... Thanks for these juror's common sense and the gift they gave the Salvio's and the Peterson's!!! They're decision today has just paved the way for so much more than anyone really knows yet. The clown defense said it's just the first step in a successful appeal... Whatever! I think it's the first step in many, many more convictions and the case law will put many more dp's where they belong and will help victims of domestic violence everywhere. Hopefully first on that list will be STACY PETERSON!!! I'm loving all the pressers and the raw, honest emotions I'm witnessing right now on the trial coverage... Nick Salvio, her father, her sisters, Pam, Cassandra, Glasgow, the community, the reporters, the trial correspondents, etc... They've waited a long time for this, and they're gratitude, relief, and overall victory today is being felt nationwide ... And then the smiling, phony team representing the filthy murderer come barreling in and take the mics, like this is some game, and react to the verdict in a completely inappropriate way, as usual. Who are they kidding? Really? They expect us to believe dp's not homicidally raging internally right now? That he's cool with it. That they don't regret putting Smith on the stand. To me, it's poetic justice... Brodsky, the big, bad LEAD attorney, made the decision to put Smith, and his "unconstitutional" hearsay testimony, on the stand and single handedly sunk his client!!! Well, not exactly single handedly, he also had a lot of help from Stacy Peterson! Poetic, for sure...

While I feel for Cassandra and the loss of her sister. She should not be the one to take custody of the children. Pam B. was appointed her guardian. Cassandra has not had an easy childhood and can't provide for these kids. Aunt Candy would be an amazing guardian for these children. Although, you have to get them out of the grips of the Peterson's. Not an easy task since they have been raising them. With the older boys doing so well on schools, I would say an impossible task. Hopefully, they will petition for partial custody. JMO

I didn't know specifics about the family dynamic. I just hope Stacy's kids aren't raised by Steve Peterson where they'll be led to believe their mom abandoned them and subjected to a relationship with drew. Hopefully someone on Stacy's side is capable of providing them with a stable home.

Many thanks for this news Nurse! My heart is truly singing again!
With Drew's guilty verdict, and justice finally coming for Kathleen ( and hopefully Stacy soon)... hopefully the wicked incubator of precious Jhesseye will be prosecuted soon too! After the fiasco of last summer's trial, this is truly helping me heal.

I am so proud of Stacy. DP underestimated her. A young naive girl he manipulated and abused. She grew into her own and likely thru being a Mother. She went to the right people. She told part of her story to a Lawyer and Clergy. Ya just cant discount their words. Way to go Stacy!!! I wish we could have heard it directly from her on the stand.
