Thank you LF.....As heart wrenching as the story is and what the principle said....there is not one word confirming Haleigh being there that day in that particular article. Is there another article that the principle confirms her attendance on Monday. There has to be.....but you know how this case has been going...nothing is as it seems.

IF she was NOT at school that Monday then the whole damn family needs to be hauled in and LE needs to throw away the key after they lock them all up..... This is beyone ridiculous.. It's been eleven months today...What happened to Haleigh? IF they can't or don't want to solve this case for whatever reason then someone needs to come in and solve it for them.... JUST MY OPINION...

Whisp, I agree with what you are saying. We don't know if she was in school that Monday or not. Why in the Sam Hill is that such a "close to the vest" issue for LE to release?

Two issues above all else, if they would simply give out in something other than cryptic "dance around the point" lingo, are confirmation of her attending school that day and definitive confirmation of RC's work hours and at PDM that night. Not a peep out of LE, not a peep out of the school system, and not a peep out of PDM on either of those two points. That's a large part of what has fueled so much public perception of guilt on the paternal side of her family.

I don't need to hear the old standard line of "LE doesn't owe us any information" as I understand that simplistic view, but if I were innocent of this horrible crime against my own daughter LE wouldn't have to give out the information. I'm going to force it out of my daughter's school and my employer to clear my own name.

LE should understand that IF Haleigh was definitely in school that day and IF RC was definitely at work from that afternoon until 3:00 am, they are causing very strong perception of guilt within a potential jury pool by playing these cryptic games. They have gone into great detail to tell us all about some dog's alleged track route that night, but whether or not these two issues are as stated by RC and MC remains unknown.

There's no other conclusion for me to draw other than there's likely a problem with their version of these two issues. They didn't waste any time producing pictures, school info, and doctor's statements when CS was alleging abuse by RC did they? Why hasn't he demanded long ago for PDM and the school system to come out with proof of these two alibi elements?

JMO, Papa, but it's no different than the work hours. I haven't heard Ron or anyone else in his family address that in at least 10.75 months.

Well said, Papa. It DOES make the family look guilty. Lately, it's been almost like a game for LE to mislead the public on any news on this case. Scanner thread listeners, including myself, hear them giving nonexistant addresses on Tyler Street when there is a call to the Croslin's. They have been saying 117 instead of 116 and changing names from Jones to Johnson just to throw listeners off. It is getting really old and is extremely frustrating to know that they won't get charged anyway. I wish I could understand how they can get away with this.

Case in point being, the first person to respond to my comment above IS a potential member of the jury pool.

If these two elements were as stated by RC and MC, LE would be doing a great disservice to the fairness of any potential case by not only being forthcoming themselves but very possibly preventing PDM and the school system from clearing it up.

I have to believe their silence speaks loudly of a problem with both.

I couldn't agree more! I have to figure, if I was the one being discussed here like RC concerning these easy-to-prove issues, I - ME - MYSELF! would go to the media with the proof to resolve the naysayers. It would not be difficult to do. I would be in front of the camera saying "I know there are doubts and I know LE is keeping quiet - HERE is the proof". If RC would just come forward and show us PROOF - say "Here is proof I was at work. Here is proof she was at school. Here is proof who picked her up that day. Here is proof of our actions during said period."

Silence is deadly, my friend.

And it's really disappointing to hear PCSO is going out of their way to hide their interactions with these families. It certainly doesn't do much for their credibility.

I think rc was let go before it was announced. When we think about it, this company would have called him and offered help and suggestions for him and his family. The company appears top notch. rc didn't call them and they didn't contact him, which would be unusual considering the circumstances.

The press release given by the headquarters in Michigan says it all to me. It was very politically correct but offered up no real reason for not giving him consideration.

One gets the impression that they no longer wanted him working there. Considering the fact they hired security for a few days after rc was told he didn't have a position should scream at people. Something happened on the job and I bet it has to do with Haleigh missing.

Oh Papa, not only does their silence speak vollumnes but hiring Defense Attorneys turns the volumne up to ear-piercing sound.

I agree, Whisperer. I wouldn't be surprised if PDM released what they were told to release. Hiring the security . . . Danger Will Robinson. Danger.

When I first heard about PDM hiring security I thought to myself "HUH?" To me that just didn't sound right. The first thought that came to mind was that something happened at PDM the night Haleigh went missing and PDM felt that if they had security it would've never happened. So I was thinking maybe Ron left the property that night, maybe he brought something onto the property that night, or maybe he stole something from PDM that night, or maybe there was an altercation at PDM that night. I was just trying to think of reasons PDM would later hire security.

Reasons to hire security:

THEFT
LEAVING THE PREMISES WHILE ON THE CLOCK
BRINGING UNIDENTIFIED ITEMS/PERSONS ONTO THE PROPERTY W/O PERMISSION

These are my top picks. If they had security neither of these would happen.

BBM
I still have a problem with Ron's work hours but maybe he was clocked in for his shift. That doesn't mean that he was there on the property during his entire shift. PDM hires SECURITY and RON hires a DEFENSE ATTORNEY. Go figure.

I just wanted to ask a question.

Did LE do any testing on the shovel and rope that was found behind the mh? I wonder if they took it into evidence. The fact that some of us believe that Haleigh is underground somewhere, a person would need a shovel to make this happen. If you ask me, Haleigh is closer to that mh than we think. That could be why Ron is so confident that she won't be found. If she is underground and no one tells where she is, then she won't be found, kwim?

LE tore up CS's property, why didn't they tear up the property surrounding the mh?

Good thought! Considering this is someone he loved, would he put her near a rented mobile home, though, or on some property where he could go "visit" her at Christmas and her birthday? In someone's garden or such? Just another thought.

That's a good thought too doobie! I just can't stop thinking about the rose that they found. I think the rose was placed on top of her body and her body is underground. Let me ask another question.

If Haleigh was buried underground, wrapped in a plastic bag, would dogs still pick up on her scent/smell of decomp? Would it depend on how far underground she is? Maybe I should put this in the rose thread too.

How long did they have security? Do they still have security now?

IIRC, they hired security either right before RC quit/got fired - which would've been a couple days after Haleigh went missing - or they did so right after RC quit/got fired. Not sure exactly, maybe someone else knows for sure, but I know it was in those few days there. I don't know if security is still there - not sure if anyone does, as PDM is pretty tight lipped these days.

I also wonder about the shovel and rope. You would assume LE tested those and searched more extensively in that area, but since we never hear anything . . . who knows . . .

I believe this is why they tore up someones yard - possibly GGS??? It was property belonging to one of the family members. IIRC, there was a fire there the night or within a couple of Haleigh going missing.

No they only use them for a few days after they told rc he was no longer employed.

  • #439
I imagine rc went off in his customary fashion when they told him he was fired and that is why they had security. People know ron and are afraid of him...with good reason, I may add.

IMHO..There is no reason for anyone to be afraid of him..Personally, I view him as a coward...JMO
