I didn't realize there was a flier thread when I made mine.
The fliers I saw that i was asking about came from a different post of links & stuff for him, thought it said no discussions.

I spent numerous days before posting trying to read so that I could help. I'm sorry if I'm doing things wrong. My purpose is to devote some time to try to help Benjaman; but I don't normally have tons of time on my hands.

As someone that's been interested in this case since Believe posted else where, there is a lot of info out there to read; I was hoping to accomplish highlighting the main points and keeping those updated via a few sites for others that would like to help.

I'm trying not to be discouraged, I know going to forums are like visiting another country. I know there are rules, etc as I've modded at a few places, plus I belong to many forums. As I said, I tried to read before posting to make sure I am putting things in the right spot but obviously I am not perfect. I've worried about stepping on toes as well; and am trying not to. This is about helping a man find answers so that he (and anyone worrying about him) can move on with his life.

We are trying to keep a semblance of order,lol, but it is likely that a clean up needs to be done for the whole shebang, so no worries.

I don't know if this is the correct thread but my one Dr said he doubts that there are serial numbers on the hardware Ben has and that if there are serial numbers, that no, they would not be seen on an Xray.

It's been a little frustrating for me the last week. When I joined my email carrier wasn't allowed but I didn't know that until I contacted the admins then after joining I never got the email confirmation.

Before making the post I looked in my user CP to see if PM's were done here but didnt have that option and I now see that today I finally have that option. One window with a few tabs says Welcome, Roselvr.

You know I could believe BK was mugged, except that muggers rarely leave the person naked.
You know I could believe he was mugged, stripped naked, got amnesia, but no one seems to know him.

That a simple mugging, which somehow involves a naked victim, would get amnesia, have no family and still be unidentified 4 1/2 yrs later.
Hmmm.
So, another theory:
this was an intentional attack. Someone knew BK, someone either followed him,
was with him, or set him up.
So,
this was a murder attempt.
Someone attacked BK while he was vulnerable. Maybe while he slept or maybe just out of the shower.
The attacker hit him in the back and in the head, BK appeared to be dying.
BK lay out somewhere with eyes open, developing the cataracts.
BK was covered in fire ant bites, bites that looked like sores.
BK was discarded behind a Burger King, off a major hiway, next to
a big old dumpster.
BK, when found, was unresponsive, sweaty, 911 responders felt
he had little neurological response.
His attackers thought he was nearly dead also.
How lucky for them that he has amnesia.

Who attacked Benjaman Kyle?
a wife, a business partner, an ex wife, husband of someone
BK was involved with, the person he owed money to,
a best friend,a neighbor,a brother who hated him?

I do not know.
But in this scenario, someone wanted him dead.
They did not succeed.

BK: Your attacker hopes you will not recover your memory.
But, because, so many people know your story; so many law enforcement agencies know your situation, so many doctors know what has happened
that I do not think the attacker would try again.
If and when you recover your memory and know who it was that attacked you,
have the police or FBI arrest them first, no bail, then let the world know who you are and what happened to you.

Going back to the first 'memories' BK had.
He knows a lot about the restaurant supply business.
To me, BK seems very detailed and particular and honest to a fault.

Here goes:
Benjaman Kyle is in the restaurant supply business. He has been for years. He goes to food supply conventions and restaurant supply tradeshows as part of his job. He notices there seem to be underhanded decision making, maybe kickbacks. As he becomes more aware of this, Benjaman starts keeping notes of the different places and different practices that he sees or hears.
At a certain point, BEnjaman decides to report this to the authorities. He becomes a 'whistleblower.' His confidential report is leaked to those who would be the most unhappy if the news were made public. Strange events start to happen. He feels he is being watched. He receives a threatening email. Some business associates give him the cold shoulder. Maybe there is an attempt to make him shut up. Benjaman asks the police or the district attorney for help. They tell him they can help him through a state witness protection program. This will be just til they can present his evidence. What they do not tell Benjaman is that they do not really have the money to do a proper state witness protection program. Benjman is left out in the cold. He decides to leave town for a short while. His whistleblower status has left him alienated from almost everyone. He arrives in Savannah, Ga. on a Saturday.
Tues. morning, Aug. 31, 2004, an unidentified man is found near a Burger King dumpster, beaten, covered in fire ant bites, naked, unresponsive.
Who is he? Did someone want to give him a warning or try to kill him?

People can't wait to come forward and tell all that they know. I don't find it hard to believe it could be a hoax, but I do find it hard to believe that it could be a hoax and no one turned him in to get their 15 minutes of fame. I don't think it's likely.

Unless Benjamin Kyle only has a wife and no living relatives, or very few friends who haven't seen it on the news, maybe they're in on it? I'm really not sure what to think. It is truly mind boggling, it makes no sence. If a professional man went missing then someobody has to have reported him, or somebody has to have seen him whether it be on his walks to work or the local coffee shop he went to, and made the connection?

I've thought about that being a possibility. I could never think up much of a scenerio that would prompt someone to pull a hoax like this, let alone being successful.

Of course it still puzzles me that no one has stepped forward with an ID for BK... how does a person go missing and not have a single person looking for them?

Is there a reason why 20/20 or Dateline or some other primetime show has not given this story at least 20-30 minutes of their time? Those are major shows. Lots more exposure. Has the story been on the morning shows? It seems to me that all demographics and time slots should be covered.

Reading the theories and trying to figure anything out has me completely puzzled.

I have wondered again and again, if BK could have left home as a teen and no one reported him missing or he was removed from the "missing lists" or even declared dead in a lengthy absence? Even with a scenerio like that, it seems so unlikely that no one in his "2nd life" wouldn't be missing him.

If he was just a solitary man with no friends, it seems like the check out girl in the grocery store or someone would "miss him".

If he was headed towards the Atlantic for a convention or something, it seems like someone should have missed him.

Someone mentioned earlier a theory in regards to meeting someone from the internet. Is it possible he met with someone that he did meet online and she/he did burglarized/beat BK and left him for dead? Since he had no ID, no clothes, apparently whomever did this didn't want him identified. Heck, someone could be using BK's identity right now and no one would know, the perpertrator of the crime certainly isn't going to come forward with his ID.

I hope that one of the bigger news outlets cover this story. :blowkiss:

Some time back, I considered the "walk-in" option. But there would still be fingerprints, etc.

I am wondering if a time-stamped hospital report and/or the time-stamped police report that was likely filed in this matter can be utilized to work from? Questions such as who was responsible, what were the circumstances of his assault, how far away did he come from, etc.

And even though it would be considered a "synthetic" chart, the date he threw out there might be worth something, however insignificant that might be.

It is interesting that this man has to keep living in limbo without even a temporary SSN number issued so that he can begin to rebuild his life. Records can be transferred so to me it is not a good argument that he can't have a number because he doesn't know who he is. He has skills, he does odd jobs, he can start earning money and being a productive citizen in the eyes of the SSA and the IRS. Approaching retirement/Medicare age he is probably going to start needing medical care of some sort.

I don't think he was retired unless he had independent wealth. He appears to be in his early 50's.
