Am I missing something? I didn't see where JM said she was going to be at the pagent with her daughter. Her shuttle posting just says "we". Spectators and "others" may go to the pagents, too....:banghead:

Very true, artsy. We don't even know if JM has children. She could have been planning on going to be a competition judge, or maybe she makes pageant costumes.
We don't even know if she went at all.
Wouldn't the week in question not be a school week, if indeed JM had a child in the competition ???? That's not to say, she didn't/wouldn't have taken a child out of school. I would think the following week would have been school holidays...I definately believe there is something to all this..great thoughts everyone!

I put a question on the Legal Questions thread to ask AZlawyer to explain for us in plain English what the documents are saying that JM/Adoption Place did wrong in the case file against them. AZlawyer has very graciously answered here:

I just can't help but think there is definitely a connection to JM here and I think the pageant thing plays into it somewhere. Maybe a front? Maybe a distraction?
Coincidences:
EJ wants to adopt Gabe out
It falls through with TS
TS puts EJ in contact with JM (who has had questionable adoption practices)
Suddenly, EJ takes off
TS claims on fb EJ has found underground help
At that same time, JM is discussing going to Austin for a pageant
EJ checks into hotel down the block from the TX hq for the pageant

That's what I found too. I googled the IP address and found it is a shared IP. Anything done with this IP address could be JM OR anyone else with access.
ETA: The phone number (haven't googled the cell # yet) shows an AM at the same address as JM, do we know anything about AM?

Do we know exactly what JM did for "The Adoption Place"?
I found a website where she's listed as a Home Study Provider for a company called Abby's One True Gift Adoptions.

I need some assistance.....I googled "Our little Miss Scholarship" and found sites with pictures...However, I am at work and we have firewalls that block the pictures...I won't be able to surf through them until after 6pm Mountain time.

I haven't been able to find anything saying she's an attorney. I haven't been able to find anything saying what her professional background is.
I don't use IP lookups enough to know how to get deep details, but have been just using the generic look up tools I use for locations. And it's gotten me some strange results. It may be because it's a static IP and the location has changed but I've had 3 different tools tell me the location is outside of Wichita.
Has it been mentioned anywhere whether or not JM's firm was to be the adoption agency for TS if she had been successful in adopting G? Whether JM was going to handle the paperwork or not and whether she was acting as the middle woman or not,
I really feel it's worth looking (important even) at who was the agency TS planned to use if she had been allowed to adopt G? If TS was honestly as close to going final on an adoption, she had to have an atty and an agency--that is as long as she was planning to adopt him legally. If TS did not, could not or would not provide names of her legal representatives and of an agency, what does that say? To me, it suggests either there was no attempt to do this placement "by the book" despite what TS is asserting now, TS doesn't want to get a friend/associate into hot water OR the placement team had a mindsset of "let's hurry up and get this done before someone realizes what we are doing!" Of the three options, none are good!

I'm not to sure if this was a pagent. I'm thinking it was a meeting to go look at a site for a pagent to be held in San Marcos TX in Jan/10. I'm finding competitions before and after the 12/18 date but nothing during that time frame. It seems to me they flew into Austin and traveled a distance, I'm thinking it was San Marcos which is between San Antonio and Austin.

well the name of the company is interesting...I wonder if "Con" is an abbreviation of something else...maybe it is a typo and should have been "Com" for company.
