This is so sad I hope she wins tons of money to aid in her childrens care when she is gone but something tells me they will drag it out untill after she is gone so they done have to pay.

I am wondering why she would choose to adopt them out to someone rather then let one of her brothers have them?
The article just says she does not want them to move?
That seems very odd to me.

I think that they are friends because the article says the girls know them. I can understand not wanting the kids to move if they know the friends better than the family. I know my son knows some of our family friends better than some of our family because of the distance between us. Even though Va Beach is a large city because of its location it takes effort and time to get here if you come from the north you have to go through the hampton roads bridge tunnel which is always backed up from any other direction you have to take rt 58 which is a HUGE speed trap and seeing as how she is ill she may not be able to make the trip

Just reading the article it read like she was going to give the girls to her brother but only changed her mind because of the move.
It just seemed kind of a flippant reason.
