Okay, I have to rant about LP again.. Where is this information about CA choking KC out coming from?? Oh, I forgot, LA..yeah, okay, how convenient for LP, knowing that LA would never admit to that if it did happen..He knows full well that no one would think twice thinking LA would be lying to cover for his family.. LP really needs to stop with his inuendos..Did he say "that's a fact" after that, or am I confusing it with one of his other stories??

I would find it strange, even resentful, that my mother felt the need to know all of those numbers.
As a full grown woman, my mother will know exactly what I want her to know regardless of whether she wants to know more or not.

My point is, as a mother and a grownup, I no longer answer to my mother.
Legally, it's none of her business what I do with my children as long as they are being taken care of.

Are we talking about two different people here? There is the tow truck driver, who removed the car from Amscot and there is the tow truck owner/manager at the impound lot. I believe that the tow truck driver, who removed the car from Amscot, did NOT smell anything and that the tow truck owner/manager is the one that reported the smell after it had been at the impound lot.

I do think this situation is quite different. Casey still lived at home, her parents knew she was dishonest, they also fully supported Caylee, clothed and fed her, and had every right to know where she was and who she was with.

I've NEVER been a fan of his but tried to cut him some slack b/c it appeared he was trying to help. I always felt he was another person who was trying to insert himself into this situation. The more he talks the more he blasts away at his credibility. It's no one's doing but his own.

Sorry that I keep complaining about LP , but honestly, this is the only thread I feel safest doing it (compliments to you all)! I also have an issue with him saying tonight that the Anthonys had plenty of time to clean out the car before the police came, and that they did, and neighbors saw them!! I read the neighbors interview.. I dont recall him saying he saw them cleaning out the car.. Was that a "fact" too?

Probably because it wasn't a him , I believe it was Britney (sp) that said she saw the car ( Casey's ) backed in the driveway with the trunk open around the time Caylee was reported missing .

OK something has been on my mind for a while and I am going to post it. Casey is Caylees mother. Casey has legal custody of Caylee. Casey does not have to tell anyone where Caylee is. There is no reason for her to. The reason I posted this is because my daughter who has my one and only beautiful granddaughter has a nanny. The nanny has been keeping my granddaughter since my daughter went back to work. My granddaughter is 3 and so cute. I have watched my granddaughter quite often. I have never met the nanny nor do I have her phone number or know where she lives, but I do know that the nanny is from PR and a friend of the fathers family. Strange isn't it. Here I have a granddaughter and know nothing really about the nanny. So I do not find it all that odd that no one knows the nanny that Casey had.

I agree with your last line and I don't have grandchildren of my own yet, but several of my friends do and you're right - they don't have this compiled list of phone numbers either and they're excellent, loving grandparents. Isn't the whole joyous point of being a grandparent so that you're relieved of those care taking duties? I don't find it at all odd that the Anthonys didn't know this nanny.

Your first 2 lines there that I've bolded, I DO have a problem with and completely disagree. I'm honestly shocked that you feel that Casey doesn't have to fess up to where Caylee is. I don't care that Casey is Caylee's mother, that doesn't give her a legal pass to make her daughter disappear, and yes, I do believe that she's alive, but if anything, Casey's position here as legal parent is a lawful assurance that she has to show good intent and lack of harm to Caylee.

Just because we procreate does not give us ownership of our children, paving the way for us to rightfully play hide n' seek with their bodies - dead or alive.

Hear what you're saying, but..... here's what I think. The police probably would have done an Amber alert if they had not immedently realised the mother was telling them ALOT of lies about the missing child. They recoginized that the mother knew where the child was and did not believe another person had the child. Just want to say at this point, if Casey had not lied to the police and had given straight info, I'm positive they still would have done and Amber alert although maybe the following would have applied also.
What would have been the point of doing an Amber alert 32 days after the child went missing? I had understood the Amber alert was to try to intercept abducters while they are trying to run with a child. Wouldn't it have been an exercise in futility? and also don't most amber alerts have a car or person description other than the missing child? Just questions that come up when I hear about the amber alert.

I understand your point about Casey's lies, and until we hear the rest of this story and where Caylee really is, I'm not willing to give her a pass on those lies just yet. I probably never will forgive ALL of her lies, because even though I believe that she has Caylee hidden away, I don't believe at this point, that she had any reason to lie about the extremes that she did that had ZERO to do with Caylee's disappearance. That's just what I think now, but I could change my mind after we ever find out where Caylee has been.

Anyway, my point is that even though I do understand you, I also don't believe that LE had any reason NOT to issue an Amber Alert even though it had been 32 days, and the reason is because we have to remember that no one KNEW that Caylee was missing for those 32 days - so, the day that Cindy called 911 might have alerted whoever has Caylee, they may have panicked and moved her, or gone on the move with her. Bottom line, picture yourself as the one holding Caylee, and for 32 days, all is silent, you're safe, right?

Your only threat comes on that 32nd day when Cindy calls 911, and now suddenly, the entire world knows that Caylee is missing. To me, that puts the moment, the situation, right back to Day 1 when most people who take children are the most panicked, and an Amber Alert at that point may have flushed something out.

Personally, I don't buy this theory because I believe that Casey willingly gave Caylee to someone for safekeeping, but I'm just using that scenario above in reference to an Amber Alert.

That was not an attempt at sarcasm.
I just like the guy.
I get and store every word he says on NG.
I follow him word for word.
It bothers me when people have for over a month now dissed the man using things he does not say or imply.
NG show is just that a show. She has him on for effect. All her guests know her style and are ready for her snaps. Oft times they grin when she zings them.
I place that comment here because this was the thread for it. This is not the place to debate Leonard. That would be on the NG show.

I am saddened that you thought my bringing that dialog to this thread was not appreciated. He did more than sluethers to get that baby back. He believed. He traveled and has lost a bunch on money on this venture.

If I misunderstood your remark, I apologize. I have not been part of this thread for long and I probably misread your intentions. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to discuss things openly and I have no problem with that and I do appreciate your perspective now that I understand.
