if ICA got 30 years or Agg MS, how long would she actually be in prison?

.

iirc, it was AZlawyer who worked out the minimum and maximum for aggravated manslaughter based on a point system Florida has. It was determined that the min=13 years and the max=30 with the requirement that 85% of the sentence be served. She's done three years of that already.

:twocents: Again the "looking for chlorine" in the bones is a huge smoke screen! Let's not forget that NONE of the defense gang's EXPERTS can testify to something that was NOT in his/her report/depo. And from the documents released........I didn't see any analysis of Caylee's bones by either Werner Spitz, M. D. or Kathy Reichs, Ph. D. BUT if it was presented, please send me to the links! Perhaps this "theory" was "floated" out to them back in 12/24/2008.........before the cremation because unless they saved tissue (bone is considered tissue!), it's not in the defense gang's bag of tricks now!

Actually I didn't hear much from you! :banghead:

Hey, I'm thanking Tricia for not calling on me much this week. Seriously, it was very hard to talk. I'm extremely impressed that Rhornsby and Tricia were able to carry on a conversation.

Mr Hornsby- will the SA be able to bring out that CA had called Casey an unfit mother ( documented in Casey's June 16th discussion with Lee) more than once, and had tried to find a way to get custody, even discussing this with her work colleagues? Casey was a good mother to all appearances with her superficial friends but at home where they knew her- they obviously saw the real thing. Neglectful.
Also- the A's do not use Chlorine products in their pool. What is JB talking about when he says they should have tested for its presence and by implication had overlooked the cause of her death as drowning....?

Sorry. When did Baez say that the Anthony's had chlorine in their pool. Did I miss this in the opening statement or has it been said since?

I also think it's got something to do with the chloroform found in the trunk. Apparently chloroform can be an ingredient of chlorine. I think they might try to infer that chlorine from the pool is to blame for the chloroform spike. Ha, ha, ha.

Here's a quote from sumbunny giving a theory.

I only caught the last five minutes, but I'm pretty durned sure uklaw is the manager of the tow yard.

You can't fool Blaise.

Blaise

Ya think? (when I listened to him testifying at trial, I kept thinking how does a guy with that accent end up managing a tow yard in Florida? haha)

Good show!

I am going to be singing and reciting passages from Shakespeare next week. Don't miss it.

I agree with Alabama that using the app on my phone for LAtalkradio.com is great. I can't get it to come in here on the web at all. But the phone is clear. Nice to hear some voices from all of you. I tried to call in about 5 times but line was always busy. Maybe next time. Great show Tricia!

Hopefully since I've installed the plug-in I'll be able to hear more next week. i'll have to tune in to the archive later on.......maybe tomorrow. :)

I was thinking..even though he has said Caylee died in the family pool if he will say that Casey left a spare swimsuit in the car and that produced the chloroform

BTW...I don't buy into any of this..

I think Dr Vass could blow that theory out of the water with a simple test on a swimsuit....

If I sounded like a true alien tonight, blame it on feedback. :yow:

:laughcry:

Mr. Hornsby acted like nothing was wrong. Impressive! :highfive:

When I was finally able to hear, your voice came across as very professional as did everyones.

You were all very impressive!

OMG YOU GUYS I AM SO SO SORRY.

I was assured beyond any doubt that the technical issues would be resovled this week.

They were worse.

You all couldn't hear it but about 7 minutes into the show our own voices started echoing in our heads. OMG it was AWFUL.

When that happens you talk much slower than normal because it messes up yoru speech patten.

I'm so frustrated I can't begin to tell you. Might have to change companies.

  • #413
She'd only be around 50 years old.

:maddening:

Ok, if she makes it in there that long. If she does, let's see her go to an ABC party or who on this earth would want anything to do with her. :great:

This is just me wondering...but what must be going thru Jose's head when he crosses paths with other lawyers outside the case? He must know what they're saying about him. You would think then he would try even harder to put on a coherent performance. Half the time I don't know what he's saying and he looks ridiculous making ridiculous points.

UK Law is Scottish.

Simon Birch, the Manager of the Tow yard, is English...I would say from the South of England. Their accents are not even remotely similar....:innocent:

Oh AS IF we don't know you played the part of ynot! We all noticed that you and ynot never spoke at the same time.

That's a hoot. He was very well spoken and damning in an unbiased way. Thank gawd.

Tricia, when Casey is sentenced to Lowell, I recommend that you do the first interview live, and allow your members to call in for questions/comments.:innocent:

  • #419
Missed everything, but thankful I didn't catch uklaw's accent- I'd have melted on the spot! Love me a Scottish accent-trade ya my southern accent for a Scottish accent, uklaw ;)

Got home too late, will have to catch up soon. Anyone know when it will be posted for replay? looked but couldn't find it:( Looking forward to catching it- someone let me know.

Thanks for the recaps, guys. Using tapatalk to sneak in via my phone. Seems like a lot of people had connection problems.

I would think that the state has this covered. The two largest CHEMICAL swimming pool companies in the WORLD are in the USA ..Atlanta GA....Arch Chemicals and BioLab (subsidiary of Chemtura). They both market biguanides and chlorine for pools. Also, there is a national organization for training/etc which isn't company related and is the premier standard for pools ... which I'm sure, if the state needs to, they have already contacted Tom Lacho**i, who is the head of the organization. Although the public companies with consumer products such as Arch/BioLab may not want to disclose, the state can find MANY MANY folks that are experts online through linkedin.com and/or trade organization heads such as Mr. Lacho**i heads, and all who used to work for either company, to better understand and be an expert on short notice with this chloroform/pool issue - I would hope this is already in hand, but easily added as to knowledge if the state wants to do such (WITH LEAD TIME!~!!!!!!)
