Thought and theories on Jeremy

  • #941
This has been one of my theories as well. We have absolutely not one person coming forward who has said that they saw Lisa all day Monday, except the story from Bill Stanton that the neighbor and her daughter saw Lisa. And, frankly, even if I had a video of them saying it, I wouldn't believe it. The more this case goes on, I think that Lisa could have passed Sunday night or Monday at some point and JI and DB's entire evening/night was staged to appear as if it was a kidnapping.

And, another thing that makes me think this is possible is that if they BOTH were responsible (or thought they were) for Lisa's death (like a drowning or overdose), then this would be a good reason for them to be sticking together like glue.
As well, we don't have any factual information what time Jeremy actually DID come home from work and, we don't know how many breaks he might have taken during his night job. This is quickly becoming my biggest theory.

BBM---sticking together like glue...and not willing to be interviewed individually is a tough one to understand if they have nothing to hide. This should not even be an issue. Why create any undo speculation with LE? :banghead:

Even if the neighbor did see Baby Lisa, the BIG question is was she awake and moving? Or did they see what appeared to be a sleeping baby? I have yet to find anything addional besides she was seen.
I just can't imagine any friend willing to be part of a cover up of this magnitude and then making her child lie as well. This whole thing makes no sense...

We're not PI's either, but hey, if Wild Bill can play one, so can we!

That was funny but I am curious as to why everyone seems so down on Bill Stanton? It appears that he is not exactly what he seems so that gives me pause but taking that into account he would likely be media marketing and he did get attention to the case which did full fill a purpose.

They had all the media attention they wanted before Stanton came on the scene. When he came it pretty much stopped.

Didn't notice that. Seemed to be a buffer of sorts but he also attracted attention.

I believe after Stanton showed up they never did another tv interview until the Dr. Phil show.

I'm with you, I just don't know if I could do nothing, I mean not even put up fliers w/pics of Lisa, do something.
Ok, who do you think is responsible for all of the flyers that are up around here? I have personally seen family members go around refreshing them here. Wasn't on the news, either.

I don't know. I think the custody hearing for Jeremy's son is sealed and his ex-girlfriend is not talking.
While the custody hearing is sealed he still has custody of his son and so does Db of hers. This is even after the so called emergency hearing. This is telling by it self to me. Still not a sign of bio mom around and she only lives less than an hour away.

You have seen Jeremy & Debbie putting up flyers?

Yes, I have seen her in the immediate area doing so, but I don't make it a habit to follow them around. I just happened to notice family members doing it a bit further north. I don't know if they were with them that day or not though. People were just convinced that if they did this it would be broadcast but what I noticed was not. No telling what else they were doing without our knowledge. Like somebody upstream mentioned we had no knowledge of them going to RR's office either until he mentioned it so that is another instance.

I've heard that in that first week, when they went to the speedway and put up flyers, that family was involved there. But, I know a lot of people in KC and the word is that while the original posters are there (in some cases), there are no new ones or no selling of T-shirts, fundraisers, or anything.

You'd think that family would at least keep this in the public eye...but...unfortunately, this is not the case.

This is what I don't get. If they are still putting up flyers, why not get some media attention? I truly do not understand. While I think having flyers up in the immediate area is important, if Lisa was kidnapped, isn't it more likely that she's not in the area? Why not get her face out into the public?

Where I live internet is pretty uncommon, very few households have it. If Lisa's face isn't on TV then people just don't know. I realize this isn't typical, but it makes me realize just how easy it would be to kidnap a baby and move to a rural area and how long it would go unnoticed.

Yes, I remember that in the first week -- they went to a "speedway" and distributed flyers ...

BBM: But, JI and DB "shut out" the "Local Media" ... So, when you will NOT do an interview with the local media -- but did "national media" interviews ... of course there will be no coverage from local media once they had been shut out ...

I think it's simple. At least it is to me. DB and JI KNOW exactly where Lisa is and know that no flyer will help anyone find her. And, they have their lawyers telling them to stay out of the spotlight, and they are only happy to oblige because they don't even want to have to pretend. Basically, "out of sight, out of mind". And, the extended family probably is starting to wonder about it as well. I mean, if DB and JI aren't concerned enough to put up flyers, why should they? After all, DB and JI are the ones who know, right?

I know that sounds harsh, but it's the way I see it...sadly...

IT would be very easy, imo. You could go to a little town and settle in. Nobody would question if it was your baby or not if you looked somewhat alike.

Before my ex andI married we used to babysit a little girl quite often for a family who lived about 30 miles away. We had my sister convinced for a year that we had adopted her. It wasn't until my SIL spilled the beans that she found out the truth. So it is in fact very easy to assume the role of an adoptive parent or other reasons to have a child in your possession. Even those who think they know you well.

Yep, Shawn Hornbeck comes to mind. People thought he even looked like Shawn Hornbeck, but they had an explanation for it that people accepted.

Looking alike wouldn't even be necessary. If you don't raise suspicions people don't question a loving "parent".

I've had people assume children I had with me were mine, they weren't even the same race.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone had Lisa and hopefully taken very good care of her but had a change of heart and wanting the best thing for her took her to a hospital or church or someplace safe? It may not be a logical thought, but my heart can't help hoping.

I think the same thing, then sometimes I think what if someone did kidnap her and the kidnapper truly loves & is caring for Lisa. Are they watching the news? Are they seeing that her parents don't seem to care that she's gone? I can't say that I'd return a child to them.

I wonder if DB & JI think that she'd now be almost 16 months old, that she'd be walking, babbling, learning to throw, stacking blocks, turning pages in a book, and coloring?
