Thoughts on the Anonymous Information?

I do believe most of us only use a small percentage of what the mind is capable of doing.

I think there are people who have extraordinary abilities.

I also believe the poster who sent the information here is sincere.

But I still place the most weight on common sense and tangible evidence. If it looks like a duck, has a bill, feathers, webbed feet and quacks, it's most likely a duck even if a sixth sense says otherwise.

Ideally the premonition lines up with some fact not known to most of the public. Only an insider would know if the "anonymous information" has that element.

IMO

I recognise that WC said no bashing and that was defintely not my intent when I started this thread. I do think it is inevitable that somewhere along the line, there might be bashing...this can be true of any thread posted here. However, discussion was my only intent.

I was only discussing my views as well! Sorry, if I came across as too opinionated!

P.S. My bad. I thought Pagans didn't celebrate holidays like Halloween because of the "bad spirits" and such.

I do believe some people have psychic abilities. I have had some pretty odd experiences. I won't list all the psychic experiences I've had, but right now, my sis-in-law is driving me nuts constantly calling as soon as I think of her! She woke up in the middle of the night on 911 from a dream about the terrorist attacks. In detail.

You know how animals have instinct? Pack mentality? I actually think that our "sixth sense" is kind of a leftover evolutionary part of our brain. Humans don't need it (like we don't need our appendix), or haven't needed it for ...but some people's psychic part of the brain is still functioning better than others.

So I don't really think it's a paranormal thing, but an actual biological thing. Paranormal experiences, spirit guides, "ghosts", etc...I believe in those too, but that's another thread!

In the end, I still need facts.

I think the bible says something about false prophets, so that may be why some would call the religious reason thing, and I think Muslims have the same thing in the Koran.

I am by no stretch of the imagination a religious scholar so take that with a grain of salt.

Maybe they want to help?

the bible also says that god sends angels to watch over us and that we live as spirits after death.
and there are any number of people being given info from god about things that will happen soon.

god said no false profits that says to me people like syvia brown and bryan that are trying to make money out of others suffering.

i have a number of phychics in my family and no they can't turn it off and on or i would be hounding them for info on this case. they simply see what is put before them to see.

i don't have a problem with non believers.'

but there are any number of different perceptions in the world.
women see many more shades of red than men
soem people can taste color.
some people hear much lower or higher frequency than the rest of us.
many people have better than 20/20 vision.
and in my family some people see angels and ghosts and auras.
to me its jsut a matter of a different perceptive ability.

btw ty guys for allowing me to believe what i have seen. i promise not to try to make any one believe in ghosts lol

but really u guys are the best its nice to be able to debate.

I am a bit on the fence. When I was younger, I read palms. Not for money (though I was offered work doing so), because I thought that was unethical. I was very good. Possibly my Roma (Gypsy) heritage. At first, I did not know how I did it. I mostly read people's pasts, complete strangers. After a while, I determined that I had amassed years of subconcious information about people that I subconciously used to tell them about their pasts. I'm a huge observer and used to be very social. Anyhow, an example would be I could guess that a white guy walking into a bar with half-done prison tattoos likely suffered the loss of a father, either through abandonment or death, around age 10-13. I was pretty much always right. I could also guess by socioeconomic appeareance and age what people in their families were named. I won't give a specific example here for fear of offense but there are two female names that were hugely popular among lower income white people in the seventies. So, I would say, "You have someone in your life named XXXX or XXXX." "Oh my gosh! How did you know that?" There were times however when my readings were so specific and kind of freaked me out because I did not know where they came from. I don't do it anymore because I began to feel it was mostly b.s. but people were really looking for answers from me. I do have experience with some pretty psychic things that have happened to me personally. One involved my mom having a strong intiution which led her to run out of the laundry room, out of the house and into the front yard where I was about to be kidnapped by a guy with a record of child molestation. I was not suppoed to be there. I was four years old and supposed to be playing at a friend's house, inside the house, when it happened. My mom thought I was down the street in the friend's house but as she was washing the clothes her heart stopped and she whispered, "Anna!" and raced outside. She threw me in the house and chased that piece of you know what, getting his license number. So, I am sceptical but not a total unbeliever and I am open to ANYTHING that could help find a missing child. It is worth a shot!

Lorikeet...I don't recall any of your posts in this thread as bashing or whatever...

And, as for Pagans, Halloween is celebrated, and in certain Pagan (Celtic) paths Halloween (Samhain) is considered the New Year.

No worries! :D

Paganism covers a broad spectrum of belief systems (by basic definition, many consider Atheism as a part of Paganism... I'm in that range )... a majority of the earth-based pagan religions (like Wicca) view Halloween as the biggest holiday of the year.

it would be very difficult to get anyone in le to believe and if by some chance they do listen how do u explain to non believers how u knew this info. in short ur now a suspect.

That doesn't make any sense. If you live miles and miles away and have an alibi, how can someone that has a psychic vision possibly be a suspect??? That's exactly why I don't put much weight on "psychic visions." If they were that accurate and confident, they'd go straight to LE..... Just my opinion.

I believe it has more cred when it comes anonymously.

Oh really? Is the National Enquirer credible? Because that's the same type of "sources" they have too.... anonymous sources. If they attach their NAME to it, THEN I believe it's credible info. If they go to LE FIRST, then they MAY be credible. But to put the cloak of anonymity over themselves and expect people to blindly believe it; you've gotta be nuts!

I am quite intuitive myself.
All it means is that one's 5 senses are very acute resulting in a "6th sense"

My question: Who could be the guy with the tattoos mentioned by Anonymous....
The Lake Vaj party guy?

I don't believe in psychic ability, and I have very dim views of it when it works its way into a case. I won't go into the content of the anonymous posting because I respect WC: she posted it, not allowing replies and straight-out says that no bashing will be done.

With that said, I will say that I am very shocked to find a sticky promoting someone's "psychic" information and feel that in doing so it is opening up a can of worms on WS. Never would I have ever thought that "psychic" information would be upheld and protected in the form that it is being done in the sticky... I am left utterly baffled by that.

Ok, wait. Let me digest this. Are we really supposed to take this "anonymous" information sent to WC and are expected not to digest it and give an opinion on it. Just because it was sent anonymously to WC doesn't make it any more credible... JMHO!

I think it would be impossible for LE to take all the psychic leads seriously. How much time are they likely to spend checking out visions and dreams that people have had? Just on this thread alone there are several people who claim to have psychic abilities themselves or know someone who does. I too have met many, many people who have given examples of psychic experiences they have had. Yet many people who have been involved in an unending amount of missing persons cases, i.e. Mark Klaas, repeatedly say there is not one documented case of where a psychic has been instrumental in solving a case.

I think most people have had experiences that are difficult to explain through logic. I know I have never had a vision, dream, etc. about a case such as Caylee's. I've had hunches or "gut" feelings that later would turn out to be accurate but I don't believe they were of a psychic nature...just good guesses IMO.

My point is that I have no idea why this particular information has been given special attention on this site, although I'm very curious about that I must admit. However, at this point I have absolutely no reason to take it any more seriously than any other hunch someone may have.

I think the lady with psychic relatives can be taken as seriously as anyone's stories who get online. Anyone could say just about anything, but she should contact someone if she feels that it's real. Maybe a family member or someone in authority of some sort could check it out. If she is for real and wants to discuss it with others, then that should be fine since everyone else posts all kinds of experiences and opinions and some even try to tell everyone else how they should post or that they're not helping the facts or whatever.

Here you go!

I won't post the Brian's Dreams site as I don't think I am allowed to! And like I said, I'm not sure how much of the above is coincidence, or not...just thought it was interesting. And I still don't know why the people who generate this information (whether helpful or not) are NOT contacting LE anonymously themselves...and asking others too?!

Well issnt that kinda freaky.
Koi rd is near Rouse rd (with a cemetary and pond) and where they found gas cans! Creepy stuff

Well at this point I'm open for anything that might help find Caylee . Personally I was alarmed when I that particular photo surfaced . The word KILL is spelled out on his hand .

If I'm not mistaken he's connected some how with the Lake Vaj bunch,I think a few of them have stripper friends (with dark shiney hair ) on their myspace profiles . I have seen mudding pictures in their photo's as well .

I would like to hear more about the guy with tattoos seen in the vision. Can this woman get more details regarding the tats ????

Casey has several guy friends with tattoos .

I am a total NON BELIEVER.

But I won't argue about it - I just won't participate on those threads.

I must have been dreaming or maybe I am totally psychic...but didn't that anonymous letter mention that her husband used to work at a Vegas Casino AS A PSYCHIC?! Yet she said: "My husband is a psychic, not a known psychic" followed by this later on..."My husband was working as a psychic in the past but because of religious views, I made him stop."

She does contradict herself, doesn't she? Interesting. She said he was working in Vegas...and I would consider him then to be "known".

I believe she means FAMOUS psychic when she says known

It's so interesting to read everyone's thoughts on this.

I work as a "psychic." I actually don't like that word; I think it has taken on a tawdry connotation, so I call myself a reader or an intuitive.

I have never worked on a crime case. I think that psychics who do police work have a very specific and serious calling. Personally, even though I'm fascinated by cases like this, I'm glad I don't have the calling to work on them psychically. It would be harder than doing an ordinary reading, especially on such a high-profile case.

Look at all the people on this board who are thinking of Caylee, missing Caylee, wanting Caylee to be found, thinking up theories. This is a lot of psychic energy to wade through to get at what really happened. It's much easier to be wrong in a high-profile case than in a low-profile one. You never know whose mind you might be tapping into.

My instinct (not an intuitive hit, just a feeling) is that the anonymous material is incorrect. Just doesn't feel right. But I'd love to be wrong and see the case settled, one way or another.
