This is true - she was beaten to death but the theory ( according to marks on her neck) is that his first attempt to murder her was by strangling. We've speculated that somehow that failed and he resorted to beating her.
I didn't stop to think about it, but wouldn't you think that his hands would be swelled and bruised? She had to be struck with a massive amount of force to cause her teeth to come out of her head and some to shatter? I would think that his dominate hand would have cuts and bruises unless he used a weapon. IMO, he did use a weapon. He is a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 coward.

I think he used a weapon that he ended up taking with hi and ditching somewhere along the way to his morning business meeting.

Jason..oh, Jason............LE wants to come out and play.

Dunno about the cuts and bruises part - maybe not if he had gloves on. It is possible he may have had a swollen wrist from using a weapon while inflicting all the blows he did. To my thinking there may be more than one item that was used, one initially when he could not strangle her and maybe a second more "usable" weapon (i.e. flashlight or some such) after the first blow to get her from fighting him. She did fight him...

Maybe, he did have on gloves and couldn't get a firm grip around her neck. I know that there were fingernail scratches. I assume that they were her own prying his grip off of her. He must have had a heavy instrument to make those severe gashes in the back of her head and to cause a fracture in her skull. I just hope that they are putting enough pieces of the puzzle together to arrest him soon. I hope that he is laying awake at night wondering what they have on him and when that knock at the door will be from the police there to arrest him.

If he is anywhere near normal, he must be looking over his shoulder and never completely at ease, especially after these last search warrants. These latest searches should tell Jason that they are not going to give up. He has not won...and LE is bound and determined to show him that justice can be served even if the criminal meticulously plans his crime and doesn't cooperate in the least.

Bet he got a taste of that answer on Valentine's day (how ironic - hello sweetheart - we're still looking at you boy) when LE showed up where he was...wonder if he fell plumb to his knees AGAIN...

No, I don't think that he could pull off that "act" again. Valentine's Day...how appropriate...I just wish we knew what they were looking for and if they found it. I am hoping that it is the jewelry that he said was stolen that night.

Jilly,

Another updated blurb from NC Wanted as of 21 Feb:

http://ncwanted.com/ncwanted_home/blogpost/2466430/

"Jason Young was listed as an “adult suspect” in an application for a Non-Testimonial Identification Order on Nov. 7, 2006. No other person has been identified as a suspect in the case. Jason Young has not provided a statement to law enforcement or cooperated in the investigation of the murder of his wife.

The new searches indicate the investigation is very active and focused."

Thank you RC for this latest link at NCWanted! :blowkiss:

And the statement which you have highlighted should squash the JII's hateful and ridiculous postings regarding Meredith as suspect, or anyone else!

Can you imagine the stress the entire Young family is under at this point?
And I think JY probably was feeling he was 'home free'!
Poor ole Booty Boy! :boohoo:

Jason the next time LE comes knocking, hope your bags are packed!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Jason - YOu won't need to pack your bags....they are going to give you everything you need there...government issued!

I'm going to post this as a new thread as well but wanted to give you guys and gals (especially those with kids!) the heads up.

I have created a website in honour of Michelle and Rylan at

www.justiceformichelle.com

I have special kids pages up now, the site is mostly aimed at children, and have written a children's book "The Sweetest Little Ladybug" that will only be available for free from that website for you to download for your kids.

There is also a giveaway for your kids too. A Russ 'wiggling ladybug' that kisses :) Details on how to enter the draw are on the website in the Kids pages. I still have work to do on it but it's nearly finished :) I plan to keep the giveaways as an ongoing thing and the website will be permanently on the web, even after justice is done.

Love
Sami

I'm wondering what LE left on jy's little mini van - a GPS maybe ? Hope he doesn't think about removing it - I believe that is a felony, but it pales in comparison to murder.

This article has nothing to do with Michelle's murder however, this is an interesting article about a warrant which has recently been unsealed. It seems to me the main reason it was sealed was to hide a specific piece of evidence found on the body of this woman's charred remains.

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/2481836/

"What the warrants do not disclose, however, is how Vanlata Patel died or a motive for her death. But they do indicate that during the Jan. 23 search, police were looking for yellow rope or twine as well as gasoline or any other substance that could have used to start a fire."

I can understand why they wanted this fact hidden - in talking to the suspect they could basically lead or mislead him about this aspect. It is possible the same applies in these recent warrants served on jy and his family.

Really! I didn't know that! Very interesting.

Yes its sounds like the same thing! So, if it's clothing or something else of jy's, you're right, they must have found a fiber. (hope, hope!).Thanks for the article RC.

uh oh - the news has finally hit Brevard. Bet there will be an interesting editorial or at the least a demand for a retraction:

http://www.transylvaniatimes.com/de...mad=&sdetail=571&wpage=1&skeyword=&sidate=&cc

"McCracken was contacted about the recent search of her home but did not return the phone call. Pat Young was unable to be contacted.'

Guess the whole family has it down now - check voice mail frequently, don't answer the phone and keep lips shut. Jy should at least be ashamed of what he has done to his family.

And that's all you need to know!

I put that in the realm of Jackie Peterson's "We want those"

Sometimes it is that simple other times it is not. But in any case the vise is tightening on JY.

You are so correct. His circle of support can verbally deny it all they want, but at the end of the day, they must realize this was not a good sign at all. Look at how they're having to live - sister having to handle these phone calls, the mother avoiding phone calls, search warrants...life is not routine thanks to the actions/inactions of Jason Lynn Young.

Just my opinion, of course.
