I'll bet Billie thought she was speaking "off the record," but told the reporter instead that she could answer a question "off camera."

IMO, of course, Young told Billie that she is not to speak "on camera" nor "on the record." If you're "off camera," in Billie's misunderstanding, that makes you "off the record."

Billie thought the snippet of information that she provided the reporter would not be attributed to her, nor published.

I've got a shopping list of behaviors and statements I hold against Billie. This will not be one of them.

The reporter could have asked her, "Will ____(blank organization) hold a prayer vigil again next month?" Because the answer to this question would be inconsequential to any possible future indictments, Billie was willing to answer the reporter, off camera-believing that meant, off the record, as well.

Billie appearing at the vigil not wearing a Hailey tee shirt last night is not added to my lengthy list of problematic Billie actions/behaviors. She was wearing a bulky hoodie. Word was it was chilly in the park last night. Photos show Clint wearing a sweatshirt, and even Naomi covering herself with a light blanket in one photo. There may not be many Hailey hoodies/sweatshirts available. This just helps fuel SA's argument that LE is on a "witch hunt."

*shrug* At this point, BJD could cover herself hear to toe in Haileywear, but it wouldn't make up for her actions and words.

Why not throw a tee shirt on over the hoodie? Or over a long sleeve tee? There is just so many things that BD could have but didn't, that this seems minor at this point. But if it was my kid missing you can bet I'd be wearing a shirt with their face on it everywhere I went. It can only bring MORE attention to Hailey, but I suppose that's not exactly high on BD's priorities right now.

another vigil for the 6 months........
so I guess BD thinks or knows that Hailey won't be back by then.
I can't see planning anything 3 months in advance like this.......
maybe I misunderstood her, but it sounded hinky to me.

My client was misquoted. Her words were taken out of context.

Yep, no direct quotes or proof she said what she did. They need some type of recorder when asking her questions...or is that illegal? imo.

Hope for Hailey will be having a fundraiser carwash at the First National Bank parking lot. Minimum $10 donation for carwash. All donations will be used to replenish the Hope for Hailey search fund.​
