Tiger kills man at San Francisco Zoo (Part 3)

Would not it be the right touch. If on one of the Cell phones they find a picture of one of them posing inside of the enclosure, I am sure the two brothers were not thinking of deleteing things off the cameras after the attack.

JDB, that's what I think is on the cell phones.;)

Think the cops got the cell phone right away while there were in the hospital.
So they hard no time.
I'm sure that's why they wanted them back....per the wonderful lawyer

If there's blood in the tiger area, which is an area closed to the public, someones going to have a lot of explaining to do.

That would be sweet justice IF the brother's caused the tigress to attack.

Sure looks like the initial rumors about footprints on the railing, dangling legs, and objects in the moat were true after all...:snooty: :silenced:

Even though the zoo should have known its fence heights and done something about them, I think the moat should have been filled with water, and I think Molinado needs to go, I hope the brothers D don't get a penny, and I hope they face charges in the death of Carlos and Tatiana, an endangered species, who was just acting like a tiger.

I hope they are able to get DNA from the blood and link these two little 🤬🤬🤬 to being where they weren't supossed to.

I'm sure they will be able to. At least we know they took the sign with the blood on it. Quote:

San Francisco police took a bloodied sign and post from just inside the tiger exhibit at the zoo as evidence in the Christmas Day mauling that killed a San Jose teen, zoo officials said today.

San Francisco Zoo spokesman Sam Singer confirmed police took the sign - which lists facts about Siberian tigers - after they discovered on Dec. 27 that it was smeared with blood.

Thanks jilly; that's Tatiana speaking from her grave. I'm betting they find drugs in the car. I am thinking the hoods had planned on this before they ever went to the zoo. Why would three thugs have any reason to go to the zoo on any day. let alone Christmas, when everyone else is spending time with their family. They are animals, and they don't care about, or appreciate anything about the animals at the zoo. I wouldn't have been at all surprised if drugs were found in Tatianas system. These are the kinds of thugs who would do something like that.

I thought the same thing about them being there Christmas Day but I guess the Dhaliwal brothers might justify that with the fact that they don't celebrate Christmas. I have to say, though, the Zoo wouldn't have been on the list for my 19yr old when he went out with his friends at ANY time of the year.

Do we know that for sure or are you just making an assumption? One of the Indian families I know does put up a Christmas tree.

I was there when the the Tiger and Lion house was still closed. But you had to walk by the enclosures to get somewhere else.I know we read not only the Lion sign but the tiger sign, And there was no blood on it then. Of course it was 3 months before the attack

Okay, well that definitely helps narrow the time frame. They can't claim the blood is years old. I just hope they obtain blood samples from the brothers D.

Just making an assumption from some East Indian families I know. I did say "might" but I should have been more clear.

Also, Sousa's family- who is Portuguese, does celebrate Christmas, his mother was expecting him for Christmas dinner and had presents for him.

I said early-on that the zoo was keeping their evidence very "close to the vest" until they needed it. They have known since day one there was evidence inside the enclosure - and now they are going to check the phones for corroborating evidence that SOMEONE was where they should NOT have been.
My Opinion

I'm sorry but I don't understand why you're bringing Sousa's family up.

Because Sousa was with the brothers D on Christmas, so what is his excuse? His family does celebrate Christmas, his father called looking for him.

I wouldn't know. I was only referring to the Dbrothers in my previous post. I know Mrs Sousa was waiting for Carlos to give him his Christmas gift. Yes, they are Portugese and I think many portugese people are Catholics who do celebrate Christmas.
Anyways, this whole conversation started when I responded to Buzz's comment about these guys being at the Zoo on Christmas day. I speculated they might give the excuse that they didn't celebrate Christmas. I didn't mention Carlos because he isn't with us anymore.

Police: Zoo survivor told of standing on railing and yelling at tiger

18:05 PST SAN FRANCISCO -- One of the two survivors of the San Francisco Zoo tiger attack that left a 17-year-old fatally mauled told the victim's father that the three had yelled and waved at the animal while standing atop the railing of the tiger's enclosure, police said in court documents filed Thursday. ul Dhaliwal, 19, denied throwing anything into the enclosure or otherwise antagonizing the animal, according to an account contained in police investigators' request for a search warrant in connection with the Christmas Day attack that killed Carlos Sousa Jr. of San Jose.

Police armed with the warrant and seeking evidence that the men had taunted the tiger searched the 2002 BMW belonging to Dhaliwal's 23-year-old brother, Kulbir, on Wednesday. They also reviewed the brothers' cell phones for any photos they might have taken before the tiger attacked.

Police said they had recovered messages and images, but apparently nothing incriminating in connection with the tiger attack. Investigators seized a small amount of marijuana as well as a partially filled bottle of Grey Goose vodka from the car, according to the inventory that police submitted from the search. They also found a kit commonly used to defeat drug testing, which included a vial of unisex synthetic urine, police said. Paul Dhaliwal was on probation stemming from a drunken driving incident and crash that occurred before the attack.

The search warrant affidavit was prepared Tuesday by police Inspector Valerie Matthews, the lead investigator in the case, and was filed with the court late Thursday. It cites multiple reports of a group of young men taunting animals at the zoo as basis for a court to grant police the right to search the cell phones and BMW, where police said they had seen the partially full bottle vodka bottle in the front passenger seat.

Thanks, Buzz. That's an interesting article. It's not hard to believe that if the three were roaring at the lions, they might have taunted the tiger.

Booze coupled with young male machismo can lead to all manner of dangerous behavior. It is, of course, good for the zoo's case if the boys were hassling Tatiana and in her enclosure.
