He's fortunate that's he's still alive and not a lot worse off physically. And he totally should have been cited. That's BS.

moo
Yep. And it’s one thing to put his own life in danger, but how many others did he put at risk?????

a experienced driver does not accidently hit the gas pedal instead of the break. We ain't new here.. give us all a break (no pun intended LUL)

True, I'm shocked he wasn't charged with anything, but I probably shouldn't be.

Lady Justice may be blindfolded, but it seems she sure can smell money just fine.

The excuses given for him are pure hogwash!

I highly doubt any average citizen would be treated with the same kid gloves.

So I guess next time any of us are caught speeding we should just say we accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake so we don’t get ticketed? I’m glad he wasn’t killed or hurt worse than he was, I’m even more glad he didn’t hurt anybody else, but he should have been cited for speeding and reckless driving.
The most astonishing thing to me was that LE said they did not check TW’s phone to see if he was texting or on the phone. Texting and driving is illegal in tons of towns. When explaining why they didn’t check the phone LE responded that the speed caused the accident, anything else before that was irrelevant. Laughable.

I wish he had been banned from driving for life. He has more than enough money to pay for a team of private drivers.
I think he is too arrogant to even consider he was at fault in this latest accident. Expensive lawyers and an open wallet have yet again prevented him taking full responsibility for his actions.

I just hope there are not endless documentaries charting his brave recovery back to fitness.

Not to be overlooked is the fact that there was no toxicology done on TW who has had issues with prescription pain relievers in the past. If one of us were speeding and/or driving recklessly, we probably wouldn't have the option of not having blood drawn for drug (and/or alcohol) testing.

Can't fathom the logic. Conclusion seems precedent setting. Maybe a lifetime pass to the Masters came up during the interviews?

So he wasn’t impaired and just chose to drive that fast and recklessly?

We wouldn’t have that option. You are correct.

Hmm.. so this time Tiger Woods thought he was in Florida. In his 2017 Florida DUI arrest, he thought he was in California. Geez.

Despite the reports, there has been no confirmation that Woods is playing at the Masters.

ESPN reported that Woods is on the list of 91 participants in next week’s Masters, but he hasn’t officially said he is playing.

If he were to play in the Masters, it would be Woods’ first official PGA tournament since the 2020 Masters which, preceded a horrific vehicle accident in February 2021 that nearly cost him his leg, CBS Sports reported.
