Less than 24 hours after Tiger Woods finished second at the U.S. Open on Father's Day, his wife gave birth to their first child, a daughter. He announced Monday night on his Web site that Sam Alexis Woods was born early Monday morning.

I used to have a Pomeranian named SAM, and she was a girl!

They are both so good looking I bet their little girl will be a doll! It's so sad that his dad didn't live to see Tiger's first baby.

I also like the things Tiger said. He puts his family and raising his baby as top priority.
