Tim Miller: Possible Lawsuit against Casey

NOPE! As the father of a little girl that was murdered and "dumped" (while he didn't do it) KC needs to sit across a table from him. Look that wonderful man in the eyes tell him how sorry she is for the way she & her family treated him...

You misunderstood. Tim is going to Florida to explore the feasibility of suing Casey. I asked why he couldn't just do that by phone. Then if he finds out it's feasible he can go to Florida to seal the deal in person with the lawyer.

Right, but you said "to find out what he can do". If he finds out that he can't do anything then he goes back home empty-handed. By phone, he can find out if he can do anything, then if yes, he goes there to seal the deal.
I thought TES set up a Florida office?
ETA: IOW...his coming may be two-fold.

I can't see why he can't recover loss over this lie. As I recall that run-away bride ended up having to pay back for the search as well as do community service. KC cost Tim Miller's much more and possibly at the expense of helping search for other missing children during that time.

Balloon boy's stupid parents had to pay back all those search costs too!
:great: GO TIM! :great:

Incase anyone is interested...

Jury foreman will be on Greta Van S. tonight @ 10pm

Yes, there is a Florida chapter. Yes, MN is still Tim's attorney for the organization's chapter in Florida. I was a member when it first came together, I no longer live in that State. What I question as to whether or not Tim can sue for losses over a "lie" is it was Cindy that made the initial call to TES in Texas, not KC. (surprise, surprise). Tim did spend time at the house trying to pinpoint an approximate place to start searching but, it was to no avail. KC didn't want to discuss it. The rest of the story gets uglier. First day, Cindy was over there ranting and raving at the command center about how insulted she was that they weren't looking for an alive Caylee. Not Tim's first rodeo in this department, kwim?

Is MN no longer the TES attorney in Florida?

Well, I'm guessing that MN cannot represent TES if TES is planning on suing the A's. MN was once their attorney. The original call came from CA.

LambChop, see my post above please. TES I thought was planning on suing KC, not the A's. Also, why can't MN represent TES?

KC did call Tim in, CA did. CA hired Tim and CA fired Tim.

I just watched his comments on MSNBC online and he is asked when he decided to sue ICA. He responds as soon as JB made his opening statement that Caylee was NEVER missing.
I don't think anyone 'hires' Tim, he comes as a volunteer organization.
CA was against his being there while they were collecting donations for their missing child foundation.. he made it clear he was looking for a body at that point.

I think you meant to say KC "didn't" call Tim, CA did. I believe I said that in my original post regarding just that. There is no "hiring" or firing" Tim since TES is non-profit. He responded and when he ran up against a brick wall after arriving, he began working with LE and not CA, GA or KC. CA tried to get him to leave but, Sheriff K. Beary stepped in and asked TES to stay.

Just to clarify, that's when I went through the ceiling also. JB's opening statement. All those people there to help find Caylee when he and she knew all the while where she was.

Also CA was against donations collected for A missing child's foundation which was Kidfinders. No affiliation with TES. She thought they were tied in together, but they never were. That's another whole story since Kidfinders to my knowledge, has never found anyone. They (Kidfinders) then went to the tent setups in parking lots with G and C with their T-shirts, bracelets, etc.

Oh...so glad to here THAT!

Since Cindy called Tim in, and the fact that Cindy was seen meeting with a financial advisor, (regarding proceeds from a book deal), perhaps Tim should consider suing Cindy. Cindy will be harder to stop, with her wheeling and dealing, than KC...Cindy is way more devious and underhanded than KC. I don't want to see ANY of them profit from Caylee's murder. The Anthonys have already used her blood for their gain. :maddening:

I hope he is able to do this. I do wonder, though, since it was Cindy who asked him to come, if he can hold them responsible. She still claims not to have known Caylee wasn't missing back then.

I've wondered the same thing. It wasn't Casey who asked Tim Miller to come...it was Cindy. Casey NEVER reported her missing, Cindy did. How can they sue Casey for what Cindy did or Cindy for what Casey did?

Can LE now charge her with unlawful disposal of a child?? Anyone know?

I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know if they COULD or not, but if they did could they PROVE it when they were not able to prove to a jury that she killed her? That would seem to be harder to prove than murder unless there was an eye witness to Casey being the one who disposed of the body or a confession from Casey that she did it. They had a lot of circumstantial evidence against her for murder, but none that I heard of for disposing of the body. No finger prints, no DNA...nothing to tie Casey to the disposal of the body. JMO

No, no proof she was last to have her.

So, we can't prove she had Caylee last but she was sentenced for lying to law enforcement about where she was or who had her??? Sounds like a sick joke if we weren't talking about Casey.
