How does one let Tim know we are thrilled he's doing this and also throw the CA being the responsible party in the lawsuit? TIA

As I understood from listening to TM talking about on JVM, his lawyer said that TES is a volunteer organization so they are never "hired" but the follow leads of "missing" children to help not only the families but LE. Since LE was goin on a "false report" which the KC has now been found guilty of they do have a case.
The search was based on KC's false report.

Maybe all of us that searched for Caylee should join in on a lawsuit, I don't want any money but if we should win all the moneys go to Tim Miller.I hope enough lawsuits go thur so that Casey can never make a dime off Caylee. I would do whatever I can to stop Casey.I know there were several searchers here on WS's that I met there at the search site Nov. 8 & 9(th. Searchers what do u think. We could contact Tim Millers attorney and start a class action lawsuit aganist Casey for the searchers? But only if all the moneys go to Tim Miller for Missing Children.

I didn't know about this....Tim is on In Session, now....he just told the story of his son who died of crib death! OMG....my heart aches for this wonderful man! He talked about finding the baby dead, his wife asking him for blankets because the baby was so cold, about him racing to a relatives to get help.....that's how people react when there is truly an unexpected or accidental death. God Bless you Tim Miller.

My attorney boss and I were just discussing this. He said this is a real shot in the dark for Tim mostly because Casey didn't hire him to look for Caylee. I think he is probably right but I'm still hopeful he's wrong.

ETA: Actually didn't he just come to help. Cindy didn't necessarily hire him either did she? I can't remember that part.

The legal thread experts are not overly optimistc about this lawsuit...
Casey did not ask them to come, apparently, or anyone else who showed up to search. Also, one of out experts says she can't be forced to tell whatever she may have told JB, due to attorney/client.

That's my concern too. I'd love to see Tim win this but Casey never asked him to search and refused to even give him information about where to search. Tim is no dummy and I'm sure his attorney's aren't either. I'm guessing this is more about making Casey talk than it is about recouping any of the expenses.

No she didn't ask for help but her lies resulted in him becoming involved and using his resources. I hope they win and regain the money they lost. For Tim Miller, this was the second most costly search he's done, and he had to turn away more than a dozen family's pleas for help because he was busy looking for Caylee. Casey allowed it to continue and could have stopped it at any time.

IMO - He may very well have a lawsuit against Cindy. My theory is this was all caused by ICA's intentional lies, which she has a conviction for. In other words ICA commited fraud on all parties due to her intentional lies, and she should pay for her lies.

Even if he doesn't win the battle he wins the war. This gives a great amount of exposure to TES and hopefully donations will start pouring in.

IIRC, Cindy wanted him there until she learned he was searching for a deceased Caylee when she insisted he search for a still alive Caylee.

She got madder than a wet hen when he said they should be looking for a dead Caylee.

Let's see. You yourself CA knows that your daughter is a liar, a thief and disrespectful. After 31 days and numerous lies and misleading statements I think looking for a dead Caylee makes a lot of sense. The problem is that if they find a dead Caylee then CA's got another daughter on the chopping block. :maddening:

The A's never wanted TES to find Caylee, IMO. I think they were trying to use them as a propaganda tool and when Tim figured this out he wanted to leave but the OCSO convinced him to keep looking.

As much as I'd like Tim to win, I doubt he will.

I was extremely sure KC would be on death row right now. Tim winning wouldn't be the biggest surprise of this case.

It is true her parents called them in but because ICA told them Caylee was kidnapped and missing. I don't put this seacrh on the parents. But for ICA's lies there would have been no search and no expense. ICA knew Caylee was already dead and her attorneys admitted as much in court so their time and resources really were wasted. On that basis I think it has merit. If if actually makes it to the courtroom I think he could win something. I don't blame him for trying. Would be nice to see her held accountable.

TM said that CA asked for his help not ICA.

Sadly, I do agree that his suit might be dismissed. He went to FL due to CA contacting him, ICA wasn't involved. He then agreed to participate but he didn't have to. At that point everyone knew the basics which were that the child was missing for a month and that the mom appeared to be dishonest or hiding something. It was on him to put his resources when the mother of the child was suspicious.
