I saw a few "misspeaks", so to speak.

The reporter said that LE traveled to MA to speak to TOMMY Croslin. We already know that it was Timmy Croslin. (Oops).

One thing I found fascinating in that report, although, it did come from GGM Sykes, is that she said LE had NEVER questioned Timmy (they said Tommy).

I'm going to figure that at the very least, LE did speak to Timmy about the van, since it was in his possession the night HaLeigh disappeared. But, I'm curious as to whether or not he was questioned in any depth beyond the van.

*sigh*

I'm just PRAYING so hard that the sighting in Walmart was a REAL sighting and HaLeigh will be coming home. I can't think of anything that would make us ALL happier. What wonderful, wonderful news that would be! With all the sadness and cruelty in the world directed at our smallest members of society, we need some good news!

what in the world were they doing all that time if they weren't questioning people about important stuff like a van that was scratched and dented and moved on the night of Haleigh's disappearance? You know what I am seriously glad that there is a new team of investigators starting at square one with this. I am sorry but that is just how I feel.

I guess it depends on what you consider to be particularly bad..in my opinion if the person that posted that information has any accurate way to prove that what they say is true(how would we ever know though) the statement that Chelsea thinks Misty is involved in Haleigh's disappearance might be consider by some(yours truly) to be a problem. Think about it...the sister of the last person to see Haleigh thinks Misty may be involved? I can't think of anyway that would be considered good.

Cheslea is Misty's sister-in-law....I know you knew that. But the rest of your statement is food for thought. Thanks.

LOL....I'm pretty sure that LE has not given GGMS a complete list of witnesses questioned and for how long or how many times! Ron himself has quite often whined about LE not giving him any information, so just why would they be giving it to GGMS and not Ron? It is quite obvious that he has previously spoken with them as there has been a connection implied to them from the very first night. imoo

It's true that everybody who is connected to any of these people has a problem. How could they help it? They have a huge problem if they care about Haleigh because she's missing, another if they care about people that suffer because she's missing and another because there is this shadow of suspicion hanging on everyone's head until she's found and the truth is known. And whoever turns out to be the perp it must be devastating for his/her relatives and friends.

IMO the local LE have been high on confiscated drugs if they haven't spoken to Timmy and Chelsea before. They gotta have spoken about the van and Joe's alibi and Misty and whatnot.

Maybe Granny makes a difference between giving statements as part of procedure and being hauled in for questioning?

After a little research I do not think that Chelsea has a problem. lol....I can't figure me out. It seems to me that Chelsea was very concerned about the van back in the beginning, she was open to LE taking it in and getting it examined, and she seems to be very suspicious of the cousin that was staying with her when Haleigh went missing.

She sure doesn't seem like the type of person that would be harboring a missing child, course that is just my opinion. I wonder how she is feeling now about her sister in law's recent tests.

reporting, that's for sure and also igniting the local's concerns about the number of seals in the area which they feel attracts the sharks as they feed on them. Course, they're really mad because of the fish the seals eat and poop they leave.

Yes, there really is a Walmart there but not many people from the Cape go shopping in Abbington. I still wonder if there really was a report of a sighting at all.

LOL....reporting on CNN about the great white sharks off of Cape Cod.... and NOW they are talking about Haleigh. Busy weekend there!

Back on topic, though, I would assume there are as many people watching the news coverage of this story on CNN and the other cable channels in Abington as there are in any other location in the USA. I did check, however, just for fun and there actually IS a Walmart in Abington, so that part checks out. No idea whether the actual info is being mis-reported, though.

Chelsea and Timmy hold key information and from what I read about Chelsea on her myspacepage, she seems levelheaded, trustworthy, and willing to cooperate with LE. I don't think she will coverup for anyone. Lindsy, Tommy's wife, who lives on Tyler Ave near Misty and Ron's MH, owns the van and it was on loan to Timmy and Chelsea Feb 9. I suppose LE is comparing Joe O's story and timeline with Timmy and Chelsea's to see how they line up. As far as I know, LE from TN interviewed Joe shortly after HaLeigh disappeared and Joe has not yet been reinterviewed by FDLE Agent Joliceur and Peggy N; maybe that will be LE's next move.
This case is alot of work and yes, getting the phone records straight is another huge piece of the puzzle. I'm glad we know Misty's cell was turned off for a part of the day.

:blowkiss: Your welcome. I to noticed that but was not sure if I was hearing things. LOL. As for GGM, well I am sure that LE/FBI have questioned everyone that they know of from neighbors to family, they are not just going to tell either side of the family how much they really know because "IMO" nobody is truly clear, regardless of LE coming out and saying that Ron and Crystal are not suspects we all know that can change at any time. I am not saying they are, just saying LE will not disclose everything to the family especially when they feel that someone within the family knows more than what they are telling, they have to keep things under the vest because their key "MISTY" will not speak the whole truth. I now wonder what all that neighbor heard that spoke out to the media back in Feb about all that noise in the back of the MH. I wonder if he got up to look at what was going on, he claims that it was really loud, you would think he would of looked out his window if he said the noise was coming from the back of the MH. Unless he lives behind them?

Who knows with PCSO. TJ Hart said on BNN radio that Chad was given a LDT after the search on the Griffis's property. Marie has never been given one. LE took the door off for testing after the house was released. In June they had evidence that had never been tested. So, it would not surprise me in the least that Timmy was not hauled in for extensive questioning 7 months ago.
