Hillary Clinton and like minded Congressional Leaders have named these minerals "Conflict Minerals" sort of like the "blood diamonds" of a few years ago. Militias in the Republic of Congo have used rape and murder as their tools to maintain their control over a country that has the largest deposit of non petroleum resources in the world for the last 15 years, to the tune of 5.4 MILLION people.
There is a direct link between the worst sexual violence in the world and the electronics industry.
