Tipster saw TH truck 6/4 AM near SI

  • #121
but if this tip is credible, she was seen going to the island without kyron, correct? or at least the person didnt see him visible.

so maybe she had some other nefarious reason for being there.

Did he see her go to Sauvie's? I'm curious about how far he remembers seeing her go.. As she would have had to get into the left turn lane eventually to get on the bridge to Sauvie's..

I'm about to call the news station and ask=)

I still hold out hope

anythings possible.

i was only 16 in 1991 but i remember seeing jaycee's case on america's most wanted. when i heard last august that some woman was claiming to be jaycee my first thought was 'what a sick cruel joke to play on her family.' i didnt think after 18 years it was still possible that she was alive.

when they found nadia in the woods after she'd been missing for 84 hours, still alive, i was shocked too.

i wouldnt be shocked if kyron is still alive either. i learned nothing is impossible in the last year :)

Sorry, haven't read the whole thread yet, but this guy saw Terri in the truck, but not Kyron or the baby in the truck, and it was at about 9:45. Is that correct?

TIA

sorry if i seem skeptical. now on top of my doubts about the solidness of the case i have the fresh memory of the 'kyron sighting' saturday.

just get it done LE. I Dont care what it takes.

No water boarding!

That's what was reported, but no one asked if anyone else was in the truck; or if they did that was not in the report. And it was reportedly between 9:15 and 9:45 IIRC.

I wonder:

If there are searchers on Sauvie Island?

And if Kyron's class presentation about the bridge is the
bridge from SI?

I'm seeing this tip in a whole different way... :) I still don't feel she harmed him...

It makes me believe even more that she handed him off some where along that road and could be in canada.. Maybe the LS guy is illegally (sp) here from Canada and knows of someone who could get him across the border... They could have went north on that highway and so on.... May sound silly....but it's possible... :) :)

I don't know if this has been asked or answer.

Wonder why they wanted video from 3rd?

Thanks, coco. Looks like I had the time wrong. According to nurseratchett, it was between 9:15 and 9:45.

From what I got listening to him, he initially "knew" about Kyron, but wasn't necessarily following all the details closely, then a couple of weeks ago something triggered his memory, he indicates as he was seeing more info on the news about the whole thing, he then realized he believes the red haired woman he saw was TH. He says he was traveling south on Hwy 30, and saw ther truck coming off Logie Trail Rd approximately 0915-0945, he watched the truck because he thought it was a friend who has one exactly like that m odel, he then pulled closer, looked over, and saw who he now feels was TH.

Since it took so long for the tipster to 'remember', even though he knew about Kyron from the beginning, and even though he watched the truck and pulled closer to look at the driver, I'm not sure how reliable he is.

If his memory is accurate though, his info seems to me to be more exculpatory than inculpatory - Terri was apparently not disguising herself, not trying to hide, she was alone in the truck (Kyron wasn't in the truck), and it would have been right after she left the school. Sounds like she may now have a defense witness.

IMO to see if she was scouting locations or meeting w/ anyone. My vote is to see if she was scouting the dump site(sorry Kyron!).

It's 5.8mi. from the school to Hwy 30 taking Logie Trail, Rd. Walking Logie Trail Rd on the map from Kyron's school to hwy 30 I can see that the area is fairly populated with houses, the right side of the road is a rather steep embankment almost all the way from Skyline to hwy 30 while the left side of the road is fairly level, there are only a couple of cut off roads which the map will not walk and only a couple of areas where one would be able to pull to the side of the road.

guy took four weeks to alledgedly call police and now he's claiming the police are ignoring him. anyone see a problem here?

Just wanted to say - no. LE also ignored Roy Kronk for a long time, and he's the one who eventually found Caylee's body. So I'm not surprised it's taken awhile for this new guy's tips to get through. I hope it does turn out to be credible, but after the CA case, I'm not going to get upset that it's a tip the police haven't followed yet. As many tips as they get in, it's lucky that they found his tip now. Caylee lay there for months before she was found because LE didn't take Roy Kronk seriously. If this guy is legit, then maybe Kyron will be found sooner. If Kyron is dead, I don't want TH get the advantage of time and decomposition.

If she were headed to the Sauvie Island bridge she should have turned down Cornelius Pass, that is the closest to the bridge. But instead she passed by Cornelius Pass and went to Logie, a very windy road that let off at Hwy 30 but much further away from the bridge.
Unless she was going to Rainbow lake, which is 0.2 mi from there....

DairyGirl, Interesting that T. was seen in this area between 9:15-9:45 am, possibly alone in the truck.
If T and K were at school that morning, this makes for a very tight time frame for K.'s disappearance...immediate comes to mind.

I read T. got home at 1:00 that day.

Have you heard IF there is a cell phone tower on Sauvie Island?

Is there a list of phone towers in your area, so someone can check?

Possibly, but it could be that he couldn't see into the truck, just the driver. It's never said that he saw the inside area of the truck, just the person who was driving. Trucks have high dashboards, and with small kids, you might not be able to see them. Plus, she could have had Kyron and the baby on the floorboard for all we know. We don't know if he saw any kids or not.

I'm not going to dismiss him just yet. We barely know what he saw except TH driving. Until I hear that he says he didn't see anyone else in the cab of that truck, I'm not going to assume the kids weren't there.

Gosh after almost a month....how would he be sure it was precisely June 4th that this happened?! Although...I guess if he was doing something out of his ordinary routine (on his way to an appointment or meeting or something) he could look back and pin-point the exact day.
