Circumstances of Disappearance​

Abraham left his residence in the morning hours of November 15, 1999, in a 1998 Chevrolet pickup that was later located on a gravel road near the Faxon neighborhood of Big Sandy, Tennessee, close to the Tennessee River. A family member reported him missing just a few minutes before 6 pm that evening. He was nowhere to be found when they returned home from work. Stone had suffered multiple strokes recently and had periods when he didn't understand where he had been. Authorities received a tip in 2004 that Stone was buried in an abandoned well near Faxon, but a search of the area turned up nothing, and the search was called off after just over a day. Stone was declared deceased in 2011.
