We are asking for the public’s help in locating Adam Baird 33 years old, height: 5’7”, weight:157lbs, hair: black, eyes: hazel.

Our office was notified by Adam’s family on April 3rd 2019 that he has been missing since March 31st 2019. Adam’s vehicle was located on Big Four Road in The Stinking Creek Community. Our investigators have spoke with Adam’s family and friends attempting to gain information regarding Adam’s whereabouts. Our deputies have been and are currently searching the Big Four area. Authorities in Campbell County said Wednesday that their search for 33-year-old Adam Baird has “intensified” as crews conducted an air and ground search for the man who was last seen by family and friends on March 31st. [Snip] The search was halted at dark, and will likely resume today, not only in the Big Four area, but also what the CCSO described as “other areas of interest.”

“We still hope that maybe he just left,” said B. P. of her brother Adam Baird...[snip] His sister said, “I know he wouldn’t go like this and not talk or see his kids. He loved them so much.” P. thinks Baird was hurt badly. She said, “Who would do this is very cruel. They took him from his three babies; a daughter and two sons. We just want to find him and have closure.”

As a child, Adam was very sick. He had a disorder that caused his hips to pop in and out of the sockets prompting him to wear braces for about five years. I can still remember how painful it was when they would tighten them up (braces), but he was so brave. He then had to use crutches for about two years. Thanks to the Shriners for Children, he overcame this. Adam grew into a good young man, married and was given his most prized gifts; his three beautiful children .

He loved to hunt, fish, ride horses, camp and spend time with his family.

Grid search for Baird begins at daybreak

For nearly two weeks, a La Follette man has been missing and leads, so far, have not turned up anything substantial. [snip] Now, one week later, the efforts to locate the 33-year- old man have dramatically intensified. At daybreak, a grid search of the Big Four Area begins. That’s where Baird’s car was found abandoned. Others areas of interest will also be covered.

Baird’s sister, B. P., continues holding out hope for information on the brother she describes as “a good person, great dad, an amazing brother and a loved, helpful and wonderful son.” She adds, “He loved with all his heart and soul, and he would give his shirt off his back to help anyone.”

$4,000 reward offered for whereabouts of missing Campbell County man | WATE 6 On Your Side

The reward for a missing Campbell County man has risen to $4,000.

It’s been more than two years since Adam Baird was reported missing. On Tuesday, his family offered a $2,000 reward for any information that leads to where he is or where his remains are. The sheriff’s office says a member of the community has now doubled that reward to $4,000.

JR Kitts has contributed an additional $2000 to the Baird family reward. The reward total is now $4000.

Baird Family Offers Reward
On April 02, 2019, Adam Baird was reported missing by his family. While the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office has interviewed many subjects and followed multiple leads, Adam Baird is still missing.

The family would like to offer a reward for any information leading to the whereabouts or remains of Adam Baird. The reward amount is $2,000 and is solely offered from the Baird family.

Anyone who would like to report information concerning the location of Adam Baird can leave a message on the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Tipline at 423-566-3784. Callers may also choose to leave their message anonymously. The family has requested that tips be called directly to the tipline and not to any member of the family.

The family would also like to express that their main concern is finding closure. The family has been exposed to many rumors concerning Adam’s disappearance and hope that individuals with any information will finally come forward and help put this situation to rest. The family’s priority is locating Adam or his remains, not prosecution.

His vehicle was recovered not long after he went missing in the area of Big 4 Ford, in the Stinking Creek community.
