From what I understood from conversation that night, the father is not nor was he with the little girl's mother when she went missing as the guy stated that the girl's father was staying with him. I also seem to remember him saying that was his only child with the mother, the rest of her children were not his... The guy my son know's gave him his business card, might have to see if he still has it..

I too question the mother, story doesn't add up and I really don't believe the little girl just walked out the door.. Most children that young are scared in the dark anyway.. Maybe the mother was out, left kids home alone or something then came home and she was missing.. If the man I saw is in fact her "real father" he looked distraught to me.. My instinct's usually work pretty good, not saying they always do but I remember that night very clearly and the impression I felt from him.

As for LE in this area, they are not the best..I think the overall legal system in this county is somewhat corrupt .

One last thing , about the area code's Murfreesboro is also 615 but once you pass M'Boro it is not very far down Interstate 24 heading towards Chattanooga that it changes to (931) maybe not even 10 miles or so.. What search group do you belong to here dannyodie?

Hey dannyodie,

You must live close to me, I live in Murfreesboro and there are signs still up in some locations regarding the little girl..just saw one yesterday. On Mother's Day I was with my son at Chili's on Broad Street and a guy my son knows that has a siding business came in with the little girl's apparently "real father".. He said at that time the father was working with him as he was trying to help keep him occupied because it was so difficult on him.. We did not talk much about it but he did indicate at that time that the little girl's father believed that a boyfriend or ex of her mother's had taken her out of the country..

I will never forget the look in his eyes, it is so sad as all the cases are.

I live in springfield, used to live in madison, I work out of nashville. just in case you or someone you know would like to be involved with a great organization, either as a volunteer or board member for missing children and adults, we are the only one in the state of tennessee, our website can be found at www.tnmissing.org I to feel mostly that the mom might know the person that took this child.

Why won't she say? This is disturbing in itself. Doesn't she realize that if someone could take her they could dispose of her just as readily?

Too many times the children are used as pawns in sick twisted games and I am tired of it.

Great work you are doing in Tennessee. You are to be commended.

Authorities continued efforts to drain part of a Smyrna creek today as part of an ongoing search for clues in the disappearance of a toddler who lived nearby.

Workers began pumping water out of Stewart Creek yesterday. Smyrna Police Sgt. Scott Byers said crews were still trying to get water out of portions of the creek this morning.

The damming and draining of the creek are the latest chapter in the five-month-old search for Analyce Guerra, a two-year-old who disappeared from her family’s apartment in April.

Problems draining a portion of a creek in Smyrna have delayed efforts to search the waterway for clues to the disappearance of young Analyce Guerra, police said.

On Monday workers began draining part of Stewart Creek downstream from a large inflatable dam, the latest development in the search for Analyce, a 2½-year-old who came up missing from her family's apartment April 23.

Authorities installed a second dam downstream from the first dam Tuesday to control backflow and allow the area to drain faster, Smyrna police detective Sgt. Scott Byers said. Rainfall over the weekend raised the creek's water level, complicating the draining process.

Investigators ended their search of the bottom of a drained creek today without finding any evidence in the disappearance of a Smyrna toddler more than five months ago.Earlier this week Smyrna police set up a large inflatable dam in Stewarts Creek and began draining water out of about 1,000 feet of the creek bed.

Analyce Guerra was last seen April 23rd in her family's apartment located near the creek.

I just wonder if her dad didn't have someone grab her and then she was taken to Mexico and the dad joined her by now. Would love to know if he is still around the area.

B, your courage and forth rightfulness is amazing. I am glad to know you.You are the one here early in the mornings and have posted half of the night to bring someone home.Don't think that I haven't noticed I have.

You never let these cold cases sleep. You never let someone not have an answer or a question. You are so special and my heart reaches out to you for all you do.

Bobbisangel.....yes you are!

concerned....I feel the exact same way about you. You refuse to give up regardless of how hopeless a case seems. You know that there are answers out there somewhere and you are determined to find them.

I know that you have a very caring heart and would solve every single case if it were possible. I really do admire you.

If I had never found this website I would have never believed the number of people of all ages that go missing. It just numbs the mind. I picture all of these families sitting at home just waiting for some word about their loved ones and think about the pain that never goes away and where their thoughts must take them when they allow themselves to even think the worst. It hurts my heart. I can't imagine being in their shoes... not even for a minute. I don't know how they survive when it goes on and on for days, months, and years. I wish they we had the ability to find each and every one of these people. And that there were happy endings to every story.

this recent arrest kinda makes me wonder if he is involved? just seems strange that his own child is missing and now he is related to a sexual battery of a child. makes me wonder if he was on drugs the night his daughter went missing and he took her to do the same to her as he did to this other child.

Does the mother think that the dad might be involved in the baby's disappearance? Didn't LE think that someone in the family might have taken the baby to Mexico or somewhere like that to stay with other relatives?

it is possible that le is thinking that the dad could be involved but they haven't come across positive leads in that direction just yet, I myself feel it is possible that the dad may have some involvement or at least some knowledge of what might have happened to the little girl, as far as the mom thinking if the dad might be involved is not very clear, I think at one time she said she didn't know for sure if he did, she still feels that the little girl is still alive, I as well do believe she is still alive, possibly traded off for money as are many hispanic children, with this arrest, I hope that they look at him in a different angle now. I have wondered several times if maybe the dad took her and sent her off to mexico with his parents.
