I fear that Sebastian may be found, with no foul play involved. Huge wooded areas to search. Ponds. They've mentioned caves. There are probably a lot of old abandoned vehicles and sheds. If he went out in the night unprepared for the weather, freezing is not impossible. Realizing he was cold and trying to find shelter seems quite possible. Whatever has happened, I don't think he is ok. Hope I am completely wrong.

yeah, I noted KP seemed very interested in looking around and not at all interested in S or what was going on at her own table, almost as if she was looking for someone specific or anticipating something or someone.

I think of sebastian a lot. 🤬🤬🤬

To be fair, this is just a snippet of the thirty or so minutes they are there. It sort of looked like she needed something and was looking for a waiter? Nothing looked really out of the ordinary, IMO.

"Any evidence of foul play?" I asked.

"We have not cleared anyone. But we have no evidence to support foul play," said Sumner County Sheriff Eric Craddock.

The sheriff concedes there are parts of the investigation that cannot be shared with the public

I am surprised this, and another TN case, are still unsolved. It's very sad.

Bbm & Rbm.
Interesting post.
Esp. the red bolded.
Wish I knew what that was about.
Hmm.

One would think by now they would've been able to clear everyone ??
Imo.
Sebastian, you are not forgotten !

I had read previously tht LE stated emphatically that "the lights" were from garbage collection. In this interview LE did not state that. He stated that the lights "Had no bearing" on the case. But when pressed, he conceded that the lights could have bearing on the case in the future. Man, that is confusing. Did I hear that wrong?

Agreed, esp. regarding the 'confusing' !

I have always feared Sebastian fled the house and they went looking for him.
Beyond that, I don't know.
Still firmly on the fence of possible foul play, and no I am not going to be off that fence anytime soon....just my .02.
Can't seem to shake it off that something bad did indeed happen to this boy.
This case hurts my heart. :(

Yeah, I 100% think he's dead, and people close to him know exactly what happened to him and where he is. I have from the beginning. He was a homebody. He took nothing with him. He didn't leave alive.

Same.:(
IMO he was unalived - possibly the reason for the "thud" story

I also believe the THUD plays an important part.
But why would she include that if it is part of the one story she couldn't tell?

I know, every lie has at least a grain of truth in it and all that...

You hit the nail on the head and answered your own question.

Not the OP but your comment is spot on — people try to stick as close to the truth as possible when they aren’t being totally honest. Because the further they stray from the truth, the harder it is to keep track of their lies. And with each retelling of the story, the higher the likelihood that some of the truth leaks out.

I actually just binge watched all five seasons of the documentary series I Am A Killer on Netflix and saw this play out over and over and over again. First, the inmate tells their version of events. Then, the prosecutor or a detective or a victim’s family member shares what actually happened — with the evidence to back it up. In almost every single case, the inmate tells a version of events that’s close to the truth but downplays or changes or blurs or omits the critical details. Of course, the details they change are those that make them culpable. In some instances, the inmates had actually convinced themselves their version was true! It was fascinating to see how much they had in common when it came to storytelling.

@CandyKiss : Oh, darn, I hope not.
The thought of him falling in the dark and crying out for help....
I just can't.

Agree. I think if they do find Sebastian in one of these, it won't be because he fell in. I can't get past the fact he wouldn't go outside without shoes, I don't think he would have travelled the terrain without them.

While searching for a couple missing teens; I found their PI is also looking for Sebastian. This is his link to 'X' and what he's doing as of December 8, 2024.
Great find on the PI’s part for finding those as I agree with him that sinkholes and any mine shafts in the area should be checked in case SR did fall into one. I think such a scenario is possible due to something similar happening to a woman in Unity Township, PA who fell into a sinkhole while looking for her lost pet. LE believe that hole only opened up just as she stepped onto the ground below her and tragically, the fall caused her to lose her life. The sinkhole opened up into an unstable mineshaft 30 feet below and due to the hazardous nature of such caves, four days were required for extensive excavation efforts to recover the poor woman’s remains.

I could definitely see myself falling or slipping into one of these in the daytime, let alone at night, because I often forget to regularly look down to check if the ground is unstable around me during a hike or walk in a forested or mountain area. I wouldn’t have even thought about the possibility of sinkholes next to me until it was too late, even though I once lived near that area of TN. I could imagine that risk would be just as high or higher for a kid, especially if they are scared and lost in the dark and this causes them to understandably panic and run.

Despite the statistics, I can’t help but still hold onto hope that somehow SR will be found alive and safe.
