AMBER ALERT TN - Autistic teen Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers, 15, missing in Hendersonville - Feb 27, 2024 #3

If he had a habit of wandering, or bolting from the home I would think the parents would have some safe guards in place? A camera? An alarm or chime if a door or window was opened?

Did he go out his window? Would that be plausible by the style of home or did he sneak out the front door? Back door? What is the consensus on how he left the home?

If he had a history of leaving I would think the mom would have opened his door to see what he was doing instead of just calling out and not looking in on him after hearing a bang.
He had never bolted or eloped. No history of leaving/running away. The parents believe he left via the front door. He had a code for the front door, if he had gotten locked out accidentally he could’ve let himself back in.

His windows appear to be similar to the windows at my house, it wouldn’t be possible to go out through the window without removing the screen. Putting the screen back in completely from outside would be difficult to impossible, same for closing/latching the widow.

Mom was a home alarm system tech it was surprising to a lot of people that they didn’t have an alarm, guess they didn’t feel like they needed one. They didn’t even have a camera to my knowledge.

I’m sure she will never forgive herself for not going in to check on him, but they were trying to give him some privacy as there had been some issues of him needing privacy as he was becoming a young man. IMO

Hoping this town isn't forgetting about their missing? Sebastian Rogers is still missing. It's coming up on a two year mark of Sebastian being missing without a trace. Unacceptable. Perhaps, I mean, they need to research the same areas previously searched. Sebastian mattered. My honest opinion.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the whereabouts of Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers. Read more about the disappearance of the 14-year-old on February 25, 2024, in the area of Stafford Court in Hendersonville, Tennessee, in this FBI story: https://fbi.gov/news/stories/searching-for-sebastian-rogers

Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers, was reported missing in the morning from his home in Hendersonville, TN, after his mother found his bedroom empty.

Sebastian had been last seen by his mother at their home the previous evening, on February 25, 2024.

Where is Sebastian Rogers?

Having raised two boys with autism, I would say this was an inside job. Someone known or related to Sebastian knows what happened.

That's just terrible if his family did something to him. If that was the case I would check areas nearby, I don't think you would drive a body to an area unknown to the person or persons who committed a crime (intentional or not), or look for disturbed grounds near the house, not sure if cadaver dogs were brought in, I know blood hounds were searching at one point. So terribly sad.

Clarksville’s Culver’s location is planning to team up with local advocates next week to continue spreading the word about Sebastian Rogers, the 16-year-old who’s been missing from Hendersonville since early 2024.

On Dec. 7, Rogers’ 17th birthday, Culver’s will be handing out free malts and FBI flyers with information about his disappearance. The autistic teen went missing Feb. 26, 2024 and hasn’t been seen since.

Where was the closest body of water to his home and has that been checked thoroughly?

Yes and yes, from what I remember.

As an autistic person, I absolutely hate emphasis on functioning labels, but I think it's relevant to point out that Sebastian wasn't known to elope and was mainstreamed, as far as I know. Was not a drowning risk any more than any other kid his age, not like younger autistic kids or older ones with more profound difficulties assessing danger posed by something like a body of water.

Henderson is on the banks of the Ohio River and directly across from Evansville, IN. The Ohio's largest shipping port is in Evansville, so it is wide and deep here.
I believe you are referring to a different place. This case is occurred in Hendersonville Tennessee.

This is correct. It is no where near the Ohio River. It’s in north central TN just a few miles south of the Kentucky border.

If say more than a few but definitely no where near the Ohio River.

They are just a few miles south of the Kentucky state line. My sister lives in Sumner County and I’m familiar with the area. Her grandchildren went to school with Sebastian.

Where could Sebastian Rogers possibly be? Bring him home for his 17th birthday Dec. 7.

The FBI is still offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to Rogers’ whereabouts. People with information about the case can contact the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-451-3838 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND or [email protected].

Agreed. I am very familiar with the area. I lived in many parts of middle and east Tennessee. It's about 30 minutes from the Kentucky border depending on how you travel.

Did this search ever involve another state in the North East?
