A Grundy County man went missing in a remote, wooded area along the Marion-Grundy county line on Dec. 13. Benjamin Joel Eleazer, 29, described as a 6-foot-tall white man with brown hair and hazel eyes, was reported missing from Grundy County and was last seen by hunters in the Highway 150 area of Marion County south of Tracy City.

Eleazer's black 2000 Mitsubishi four-door sedan was found near the area where he was last seen.

Marion County Sheriff's Office Detective Gene Hargis said Eleazer told the hunters, who were on property in Marion County they had leased for hunting, that he was in the woods honing his survival skills.

Eleazer's car, a black 2000 Mitsubishi four-door sedan, was found near Burns Cemetery on Highway 150...

Shrum said the encounter between Eleazer and the hunters was reported around Christmas.
