Realistically, it has been 25 years since she went missing and 19 years since she posted on this forum. Of course, it is heartbreaking, but at some point the desire to constantly hunt dims. And I'm sure she has her own sources of information.

Hope she is found.

The Bethany Markowski Foundation is hosting an event in Lebanon to honor missing children, support families and educate the community on child safety, all while bringing attention to Bethany’s case.

On Wednesday, March 4, they’re hosting an annual event honoring missing children and bringing awareness on the anniversary of Bethany’s disappearance.

“I’m not done; we’re not done,” Carter said. “I said it 25 years ago, and I’ll say it every day: I will not stop looking for you or trying to bring you home.”

“Somebody stole Bethany’s voice; somebody stole Bethany’s life, what she was, what she could’ve become, and they stole 25 years of our lives,” Carter said.
