Bobbie Gunter, 48, went missing from the 3100 block of Lamar Avenue after being approached by three men armed with weapons on June 29, 2025.

*************************************************************************

Not sure what to think about this one. There are a lot of unanswered questions. Who was she with? What time did it happen? How long did that person wait before notifying the police? Were there any witnesses? Were there cameras nearby? Etc., etc., etc.

I'm just not buying the narrative. 3 armed unknown people just approach two people and one runs away and one disappears? If I had 3 people with guns trained on me, running wouldn't be an option but the other person just safely runs away?

I can see an armed robber, perhaps, but it's usually not THREE people, just one. And again, you run away with even one person pointing a gun at you? Sorry, just doesn't make sense.

The missing woman is currently on active probation. Alias Bobbie Jo Hunter. Here's her booking photo from JUNE 3, from the Tennessee state felon database. Detailed Results. Looks like the arrest was in Memphis but that county (Shelby) is one of the few in the state that doesn't allow for online court record search so no luck on the initial charges.

Here's her Facebook - no posts this year. but it's her, same neck tatto as the booking/ID photo. Bobbie Gunter

We don't know if the other person is female or male. The police report refers to the person only as "complainant" and the article refers to "another person." It's easy to assume that it is another woman, but without confirmation we can't be sure!

Thanks! - I don't know why I read it as being a female that was with Bobbie - but realized that after I had first posted so I had time to edit it. It now doesn't indicate gender of Bobbie's companion.
