Was arrested in Scottsboro, Ala & extradited to Tenn. Confessed to raping his son.
*Danielle Faith Bowen (22) “mom” arrested & charged (11/19/18) & arraigned (5/6/19) with aggravated child abuse/neglect, failing to seek medical attention. $100K bond.
Trial set to begin 2/10/20 for both.
Babysitter noticed injuries 2 days later & took him to hospital.
11/20/18 Update: Both have hearing on 12/6. 12/6/18: Hearing rescheduled to 12/11. 12/11/18: Both have been bound over to Grand Jury. Arraignment hearing on 4/1/19.

Finally found an article @Niner!

A Lawrenceburg man may spend the next 85 years in prison after a jury convicted him Thursday of raping a toddler last year.

Simon Dean Porter, then-33, was arrested in November 2018 after a search that crossed state lines.

Porter is scheduled for a sentencing hearing April 3 on the convictions of aggravated rape of a child and aggravated child abuse.

He faces between 40-85 years in prison, Cooper said in an email.
