SODDY-DAISY, HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - It's been three weeks since anyone has seen or heard from Casey Burgiss.

SODDY DAISY, TN. (WRCB) - David Burgiss has printed and posted hundreds of flyers, hoping they will help bring his son home.

Tennessee family desperate for answers in young father's disappearance

""I deserve to bury my child," a distraught Karen Crawley, the man's mother, said in an interview with FoxNews.com.

"I don't think he's alive because he's not called any of us," Crawley said. "I know that whoever killed him is someone he knew and they're still walking around this small little town. And I think it's more than one person."

Both Crawley and Burgiss' stepmother, Diana Caraway, said they've heard various rumors indicating the man was murdered and buried on a mountain."

Keith Lee Stewart has pleaded guilty in the 2012 murder of Casey Burgiss, 24, in Soddy-Daisy.

As part of the plea to second-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery, he was sentenced to 35 years in prison...

Stewart later told a friend that he'd lured Burgiss up to Devil's Pocket, a cave-like sinkhole, telling him that he had a quarter pound of marijuana... A medical examiner's report showed that Burgiss had been shot once in the face and once in the back of the head.
