Per NAMUS: Cayla was last seen approximately 2 am on 01/23/2025. She was last seen in her front yard wearing pajamas, no shoes, or jacket. Cayla has a tattoo on her right arm of an alligator and also an unknown tattoo on her left arm.

I was raised with Cayla, and she lives with my family. I can guarantee you none of us know where she is. We are worried sick about her and would never let it go on like this if we knew where she was. She has 2 kids that love and need her and we all miss her.

I am wondering if there was pending legal activity not reflected in the publicaly available court records due to her being found in violation of probation in June of 2024 and failure to make payments to the court since 2021 (amount owed almost $6000). I hope it's not somehing that had her so concerned that she would take off, she has family that has to be so worried.

She did have legal problems, but she has so many people to help her with those things. I just don't believe she would do this. There are just so many questions and the few answers we've gotten has lead to more questions.

My father, lived at the same house and he died on January 25th. He treated her like his own daughter and I feel like if she knew about him dying that she would have came back. She has such a huge support system.

I understand, many of us have had things in our past that were hard to deal with, mistakes made. I hope she realizes nothing is so bad that her family can't help her get through it. I hope she is in contact with you soon.

I hope so as well. None of it makes sense. None of us can understand what exactly happened or why. I just hope she has seen all of the people that are looking for her, and all the people that care. I just hope to God she just comes home. Even if she just left because everything was just to much to deal with, as long as she comes back that's all that matters to me.

The body of a woman missing since late January was found in Washington County, Tennessee, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) announced on Tuesday that the body of Cayla Nickles was found on Sunday night.

The WCSO reports her body was found by a property owner in a wooded area off of Knob Creek Dock Rd.

A medical examiner positively identified the body as Nickels.

According to the WCSO, there are no signs of foul play, and the investigation remains ongoing.
