TN - Cheyenne McKeehan, 3, dies after finding loaded gun, Lebanon, 7 March 2010

I cant seem to find anything via google news other than what the dailymail article stated. the results are something like 140 but they all quote the same source. Apparently the mom told cops the child must have mistaked it as they looked similar and the child played wii "all day long". apparently cops find that reasonable. I cant find absolutely nothing else which I dont know if I am spoiled by the anthony case or what but very frustrated at lack of info.

Here you go..

What I can't believe is Wilson Co., TN LE is set to call this a tragic accident. Don't they have a law there that requires adults to lock up guns so children don't have access to them?

Well this is idiocy. TN has no gun law requiring safe storage!

It makes me made that they dismiss it as "toys looks real." I think the parents lack common sense all around here. Having realistic looking gun toys is fine, but kids need age-appropriate toys, and a Wii gun system is not for a three-year-old. Goodness, they had a whole episode of Supernanny about that! Then leaving the gun on the counter. My two year old is only 31 inches tall and she can reach the top of the counter.

It is a tragic accident. I hope the parents change their lifestyle and their attitudes about guns, real or otherwise.
