BEDFORD COUNTY, Tenn. - There is new information that could help explain what happened to the two Bedford County children who went missing after a fire destroyed their home last September.

Not just a vigil: Leads sought for the missing

In the hope of generating leads, a candlelight vigil for the area's missing will be held Saturday on the courthouse lawn starting at 7 p.m..

Leverette and Daniel were last seen Sept. 23, 2012 before their home near Rover burned. Their grandparents, with whom they lived, died in the fire, but the children's remains were never recovered and they are both considered missing by the TBI.

For Chloie and Gage...all the Shelbyville missing...

Missing Persons Rally Brings Hope To Bedford County

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Family members of Tennessee's missing gathered in Shelbyville Saturday in hopes of gaining new leads that could bring their loved ones home.

An Amber Alert is still active for Gage Daniel and Chloie Leverette, although officials are still trying to determine if the children died in a house fire that killed their grandparents.

This statement alone totally flies in the face of the earlier article.

Would it really be possible for their remains to have been so consumed by the fire that they were not found at scene? Seems unlikely to me but I am no expert.

One year today, Chloie and Gage...MISSING. DISAPPEARED.
Aunt Esther speaks of it being a 'grieving year...looking constantly for you, and holding out in hope' (paraphrasing)...
Likewise on this stranger's end, little children...
I look, hope, and pray for you, too.

Family members have their own theories about what may have happened to the children.

"My brother had gotten a settlement, and he may have had some money in the house," Esther said. "I think they were taken by whom I don't know, I don't know that."

Hmmm...that's news. Settlement. $$$. Hmmm...

'Never give up': Rally keeps hope for missing residents alive

The raindrops that began falling as balloons were released at a rally for Bedford County's missing persons Sunday seemed perfectly appropriate.

Tears from heaven, one might say.

Under those balloons and raindrops, hope and hugs reigned.

They keep Cheryl Leverette Daniel going as she hangs on to the belief that she'll someday be reunited with her children.

"I want them to know I love them very deeply," an emotional Daniel told a group of approximately 50 gathered at Bedford County Agriculture Center a year and six days after the fire.

"The whole family loves you. We have not stopped looking for you and we will never stop looking for you. Never give up. We will keep looking for you."

Excellent question! A year long question of hmmm. I fail to ever recall the circumstances/reasoning these children were with Paw & Maw McClaran.
We are only now...just beginning to hear mom's words, via MSM...after all this time. Yet, I welcome them.
