Believe it or not, it snows here in Wilmington, NC about every ten years and everything closes down. We don't have snow plows. We had a real snow in 1989 on Christmas Eve. Temperature dropped to zero and snow came in from the ocean and 15 inches fell. Temp and snow broke all records. Usually theres hardly enough snow to make a little snowman.

Price asks the detective about what G said after tape ended... he says he asked G if he regretted not stopping it or telling anyone, and G responded wuth the "f that white girl, you guys come over here and kill us..." comment. (We have a copy of the words he said, as they were reported.. I'll post it in a second.)

In Cobbins' trial (and also LD's IIRC) this is what ME Mileusnic-Polchan had to say re the injuries sustained by Chris:


The medical examiner testified that the crimes were too much for one person to commit alone.

"It took a long time to execute all these steps from Mr. Newsom to Ms Christian," Dr. Darinka Mileusnic-Polchan says. "Did one person do it? It's highly unlikely. How many people, two or three I cannot tell that. Who did it? I cannot tell that."

Well they had the guns and ammunition to fight with cops if they so wished... instead they raped and murdered two innocent and defenseless people.
That is the gang/bully mentality- in a group they are bad mothers, but alone or confronted by the strong they are weak and basically chickens.

What hurts is that, no matter what, either Boyd or GT were right there helping the assault and murder of Chris, but neither are going to be held accountable. :no:

That was 18 years federal, for driving them across state lines to get the gang back to KY.

Does anyone know why he hasn't been tried for Chris' murder by the Knoxville DA, like these other 4?

I always felt if was probably LD, Boyd and George that took Chris to the tracks.

As for Boyd, I dont think he is done. I think the State is probablyjust waiting to see how these trials wrap up, see if anyone would roll-over, etc. Then I think we may see state charges against him. However, I have also long wondered if Boyd wasnt given some sort of deal.

Thanks everyone again today for the updates, I haven't had a chance to get to watch much of the trial so it really helps. Gezzz I would sure like to read what GT told the police in his statement, but it sounds like he really didn't say anything.

That's three people, Cobbins, Vanessa, and GT that say Boyd took part in the kidnapping and took Chris from the house. It's beyond me why he wasn't charged by the state.

Sure is interesting how all the defendants dance around talking about what happened to Chris. If we believed them, he never made it past the front porch.

Yep. The timeline has big holes.

- They carjacked Chris and Channon around 10 (?) at the apartments...

(I can't remember how we know this time, except that it was after Channon talked to Cara at 9 as she waited for Chris, and they were going to eat dinner, but never did, according to the ME... And the suspects say this was all around 10? )

- Jenkins saw the 4Runner at the Chipman house at 12:30
Then he saw them drive the 4Runner in the U turn, look suspicious and angry at him, and then drive toward (and park near?) the RR tracks at 1:10-ish.

- Arnold heard the pop pop pop at the RR track at 1:45.

So where was Chris all those hours?

The suspects all say that [the "real" bad guys] brought Chris into the house with Channon, then took her into the bedroom, then took Chris back out, and [LD/LC/E/G, depending on who's asked] left with Chris.

Is this the same group Jenkins saw at 1:00 and shot Chris 45 minutes later?

At least G and Nessa say Channon also sat in the living room for some time, without a blindfold. I have a horrible suspicion that they were assaulting Chris in front of her there at that time. That would be something so horrendous - or "gay" - they all would want to deny knowing about.

On the other hand, there is also the 12:00 midnight point, where the Kileen Bible says she was on her porch smoking and saw no SUV there. Is this the strange trip LD supposedly took before he wiped down the prints? Did he take Chris with him then? Was Chris in the SUV, maybe even alone at times, until the 1:00 drive Jenkins saw?

Thomas is the only one that said Boyd took Chris out isn't he, or did Coleman say that also. It would be nice if just one would tell the truth.

Yeah but I thought Cobbins stayed with Channon... and the other 3 took Chris away??? Where would they have been going if Channon was at the house and Chris was with Boyd only? I think they were trying to pin on the one that wasn't there as the one that killed Chris alone. What you think?
